The incompetence and shamelessness of the IAEA

The issue of Japan's nuclear sewage discharge has attracted global attention and **. But in the midst of this crisis, there is one organization that has been remarkably silent and weak: the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), which is part of the United Nations.

The purpose of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) is to promote the peaceful uses of atomic energy and to oversee the safety and non-proliferation of nuclear energy. However, in the face of Japan's nuclear sewage discharge, and Britain's move to give Australia the best nuclear submarine technology, the IAEA has played no role, and even defended Japan, issuing a suspicious test report, claiming that Japan's nuclear sewage meets international standards.

The authenticity of this kind of report has been questioned by China, because Japan simply does not allow experts from other countries to go to Fukushima for sampling and testing. Grossi, the director of the International Atomic Energy Agency, did not give any reasonable explanation, but complained that the IAEA may not be able to continue operating due to the refusal of China and the United States to pay their membership dues.

China's refusal to pay its membership dues is due to its dissatisfaction with the IAEA. China, as a major contributor, was supposed to pay 60 million euros (about 4.).600 million yuan), however, the IAEA has not fulfilled its responsibilities, has not protected the safety of nuclear energy around the world, has not opposed Japan's nuclear sewage discharge, and has not stopped the British nuclear submarine deal, which is disrespectful and irresponsible to the people of China and the world.

The United States is also unwilling to pay its dues, but this is due to US hegemony, which wants to control the IAEA and make it serve the interests of the United States, not the peace and development of the world. The United States has also reported that Japan's nuclear sewage discharge incident has angered the whole of Asia, but in Europe and the United States, America's allies are not too concerned about it.

Grossi, the director of the International Atomic Energy Agency, is a politician, not a nuclear energy expert. His ambition and ignorance have made him a puppet of the United States and Japan, and he has even openly stated that depleted uranium shells do not cause radioactive contamination, which is an insult to the victims of the battlefield in Ukraine and a provocation to the World Health Organization.

The IAEA has lost its raison d'ĂȘtre, it is no longer a fair, open and credible international organization, but an instrument privatized by Western countries, which works only for the interests of the United States, not for the interests of the whole world.

China will no longer pay for such organizations, China will no longer allow such organizations to interfere in China's nuclear energy development, and China will no longer allow such organizations to cover up Japan's nuclear sewage crimes.

China will continue to work with other countries to jointly safeguard global nuclear energy security, jointly oppose Japan's nuclear sewage discharge, and jointly promote the peaceful use of atomic energy.
