About the Artist
Sun Bailing, pen name, born in 1950, is a native of Yulin City, Shaanxi Province. He is now a member of the Yulin Calligraphy Association, a member of the Ordos Calligraphy Association, and the director of the Taifaxiang Calligraphy and Painting Garden in Ordos.
Influenced by his grandfather's exquisite calligraphy, he loved the art of calligraphy and painting since childhood, loved life, and had profound attainments in calligraphy, landscape painting, seal carving, etc. He has studied calligraphy for more than 40 years, and has been studying calligraphy by famous artists such as Wang Xizhi, Zhong Shaojing, Ouyang Xun, Zhang Menglong, Wen Mingming, etc., and is proficient in fonts such as Xiaokai and Xiaoxingcao.
He has participated in many provincial, municipal and national painting and calligraphy exhibitions and won awards, and his works have been well received by experts and scholars.
