At about half past four o'clock in the afternoon of December 15, the second pipe factory community of the West Street Community of Bajiao Street Stadium was leaking due to the water leakage of the heating main, which caused the heating of 170 households in the community to be cut off. Wang Qizhi, deputy head of Shijingshan District, rushed to the scene to guide the repair work and asked for the heating to be restored as soon as possible. The main leaders of the street actively coordinated the disposal, and the departments of the sub-bureau, property rights unit, and heating group responded quickly.
The second pipe factory community was built at the end of the eighties of the last century, with a total of six slab buildings and nearly 500 residents in 170 households. Due to the long construction time of the community and the fact that it is a community to be demolished, there is the problem of aging infrastructure, and there are many vulnerable groups such as the elderly and the disabled in the community.
Although the snowfall in Beijing has stopped, the cold continues to deepen, and the temperature may be the lowest since the beginning of winter. In order to minimize the impact of the heating outage on the lives of residents, all the staff of the community are on duty, take the initiative to inform the maintenance progress, connect with vulnerable groups one by one, and respond to residents' demands in a timely manner.
After investigation, the water leakage was mainly due to the large heating pressure, which led to multiple water leakage points in the main heating pipeline of the pump room. After the on-site research and judgment of the heating company and the property right unit, the main pipeline was immediately replaced. The construction unit dismantles the original old pipeline and replaces the new pipeline, and after the pressurized water supply checks that there is no leakage point, the new pipeline is equipped with insulation measures and waits for hot water circulation.
After 8 hours of continuous fighting, the pipeline was repaired at 0:30 on December 16, and the heating of the community was fully restored.
