The United States has made adjustments to its strategy in Ukraine, planning to send generals to command Ukrainian forces. Ukraine tried to carry out **, but half a year has passed without significant results. The United States has developed a new tactic, suggesting that Ukraine suspend its offensive, strengthen its defenses, and build trenches and defenses to defend itself against a potential Russian offensive. Although Ukraine believes it is necessary to continue the offensive, it faces a shortage of ammunition and the United States does not provide financial support.
Therefore, the United States advises Ukraine to strengthen its defenses against Russia's ** and seek more favorable conditions to counter the Russian offensive when the weather warms. At the same time, Ukraine needs to build new and complete supply lines and increase the productivity of its own arsenals in order to achieve self-sufficiency, because the United States believes that it is almost impossible for Ukraine to break through Russian defenses and carry out an offensive.
It is unrealistic for Ukraine to rely on US and European support to survive, and it must be able to make its own blood. And after Ukraine withstands Russia's offensive next year through the new defense strategy of the United States, the two sides may realize that the war cannot be sustained and may begin negotiations until the end of 2024 or even 2025. Against this background, Russia has put forward a new concept.
They abandoned demands such as militarization, denazification, and opposition to Ukraine's accession to the European Union, instead making it clear that as long as Ukraine recognized the eastern territories as belonging to Russia. Russia clearly states this as a territorial struggle, so it will occupy as much territory as possible when it fights. Therefore, I estimate that this winter Ukraine will also begin to build defenses, for example, trenches. And next spring, it is possible that Russia will attack again.
If nothing was achieved at that time, both sides realized that the situation had come to an end and could negotiate on that basis. But not yet, as both sides want to rely on their new strategies to maintain the current situation.
