Before World War II, Britain was the world hegemon, with colonies all over the world. However, after the war, Britain suffered a setback and could not maintain its large colonial rule, and independence movements broke out in various places. India also gained independence from British control at this time. India's ambitions, however, have swelled significantly.
Soon after the founding of the People's Republic of China, India began to show hostility towards China's border territories. The British colonial period caused the Sino-Indian border dispute, and various historical reasons led to this situation. Since 1951, India has sent troops to occupy the territory south of the "McMah Red Line". Despite our repeated proposals for peaceful coexistence, India has become more arrogant, taking the initiative to provoke conflicts, and even establishing military positions in southern Tibet.
In September 1962, the Indian army crossed the border line and launched an attack on our army. Unable to bear it any longer, we decided to counterattack in self-defense on October 20. During this period, our army adopted the tactics of opening on both flanks and making a detour from the flanks and back, and successfully annihilated the Indian 7th Brigade and regained the lost territory. In the eastern sector, our army successfully captured Tawang and completely annihilated the Indian 7th Brigade.
In the western sector, our army launched multiple strikes on the Indian strongholds, and the soldiers overcame the harsh environment such as the lack of oxygen in the mountains and the severe cold, and completely annihilated the enemy. By 28 October, 37 Indian army positions had been cleared. In the context of the victory in the eastern sector, on 24 November, our side issued an armistice statement in which it was willing to renegotiate a settlement of the border issue. However, India rejected the armistice proposal and, not only that, but also strengthened its armaments and gathered more troops.
In the face of India's intransigence, I have no choice but to fight. From the beginning of the battle on November 11 to the 21st, our army once again counterattacked on all fronts and successfully defeated the Indian army. During the entire self-defense counterattack, our army completely annihilated 3 Indian brigades, causing heavy losses to India and forcing it to cease fighting. China's determination to maintain territorial security with its great strength has taught the arrogant India a thorough lesson, making it dare not invade again for decades.
