The sequence of the 15th Army of the Volunteer Army to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea is above the regiment level (the traces of the letter and history are organized).
(He entered the DPRK on March 25, 1951 and returned to China in May 1954).
Recently, when I was studying the history of the war, I found that our heroic volunteers did not even have a decent list of regiments and above (the propaganda was still very insufficient!).)。The old version of the "Chinese People's Volunteer Army Sequence" only reached the division level, but most of the actual combat units were organized with regiments and battalions as tasks. This series will try to give the above sequence of each corps of the Volunteer Army, because the information is limited and errors and omissions are inevitable, please pay attention to verification when quoting, and also ask friends who know (most of the internally published history of each division has a sequence above the regiment, but it is difficult to collect!Don't hesitate to make corrections. The predecessor of the 15th Army was the 9th Column of the Central Plains Field Army, which originated in the Taiyue Military Region and was a field army upgraded by local troops, with a relatively thin foundation. After being included in the Chen Xie Corps, after three years of baptism of the Liberation War, it was tempered into steel, although its strength was still not as good as the 13th Army and the 14th Army that were split from the 4th Column, but the combat effectiveness shown in the Huaihai Campaign was already in the forefront of the Second Field. During the period of resisting US aggression and aiding Korea, the 13th and 14th armies of the Fourth Corps were ordered to guard the southwestern border to prevent the Kuomintang from attacking and harassing the remnants outside the country, while the 15th Army stepped forward to form a new three corps with the 12th Army and the 60th Army to fight in Korea. In the first battle of Shangganling, the 15th Army sacrificed the most and benefited the most, Huang Jiguang was crowned a god in the first battle, the officers and men of the three armies fought for their lives, and the 15th Army jumped from the main force of the second line to a super force composed of the Airborne Army.
