As a grand event of urban and rural integration, the event is themed "Walking the Ancient Road of Qiao and Reading the Beautiful Zhongshan", with a total of four routes planned, with a total distance of about 50 kilometers, passing through the Eastern District, Shiqi, Southern District, Wuguishan, Sanxiang and other towns and streets. The ancient alleys of blue bricks, splendid fields, forest streams, and Xiangshan delicacies are dotted among them, allowing participants to appreciate the beauty of Zhongshan's natural ecology, the beauty of urban livability, the beauty of harmonious and good governance, the beauty of Lingnan water towns, and the beauty of Xiangshan culture.

Among them, the starting point of the northern route is Xingzhong Square and National Fitness Plaza, passing through the Party and Mass Service Center of the South District Street, Caobian School and Longtang Community Sports Park.

Citizens can take the bus line at the main bus stops around the hiking route to and from the starting and ending points and check-in points in various functional areas; Take the bus shuttle line at the "Wuguishan Shigu" bus stop around the terminal station to return to the starting point and the nearest bus hub.
As a sports and tourism event integrating urban and rural areas, this event will attract many citizens to participate. In order to ensure the safe and orderly progress of the trekking activities, the organizers will set up temporary medical points along the hiking route, and all medical institutions will open green channels to prepare for emergency treatment, and dispatch ambulances and medical personnel to provide on-site medical support.
At the same time, in order to ensure the safe development of the event and minimize the disturbance to the public, temporary traffic control will be implemented on some sections of the road on the day of the event. Roads subject to temporary traffic control are allowed to pass through pedestrians and are closed to public vehicles, except for emergency medical treatment, emergency rescue and work vehicles.
