Introduction to Huidong Fishing Song
The historical origin of Huidong fishing songs has been more than 1,000 years. The distant ancestors of the coastal fishermen of Huidong originally belonged to the "Tan people", also known as the "Hou Boat People", they moved in from Fujian and Chaozhou, and the fishing songs also migrated with the Tan people, and intertwined with the culture of the coastal areas of Huidong, gradually forming a unique tune, style and singing form.
In 2008, Huidong Fishing Song was included in the second batch of national intangible cultural heritage list, which is the crystallization of the wisdom created by the life and labor of Lingnan fishermen. Its style is unique, the tone is beautiful, and the melody has a strong unique charm of local folk opera and folk music.

This drama is based on the birthday of five generations in the same house, Liu Jun, as a marine law enforcement officer, when everyone congratulated and enjoyed themselves, but because Xu Xin pulled a big net on the shore to fish, he sent a fine to his future uncle, which caused a strong conflict. At this time, the 90-year-old lady Lin Haiying came forward to mediate, telling the life experience of the Tanjia fishermen from the sea to the shore and running to a better life under the leadership of the Communist Party of China, persuaded Xu Xin and Liu Junbing to release their previous suspicions, and took Xu Xin to the fishermen's new village to find a new way to drive a yacht.
