The International Department of the China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Association (hereinafter referred to as "China Green Development Society" or "Green Society") received a letter from the Science-Policy Platform on Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services (IPBES) that the IPBES Secretariat will extend the deadline for the second external review of the Thematic Assessment on the Interlinkages between Biodiversity, Water, Food and Health (Relationship Assessment) on the future role of the policy support function and how to enhance the implementation of Target 4(a). The IPBES Secretariat extended several reviews with upcoming deadlines as follows:
1.The deadline for consultation on the future role of the policy support function and how to enhance the implementation of Target 4(a) is2024 1May 13th
2.The second External Review of the IPBES Thematic Assessment of the Interlinkages between Biodiversity, Water, Food and Health (Relationship Assessment) was conducted in:January 21, 2024As of the deadline, the focus will be on the second draft of the chapters and the first draft summary for policymakers.
3.*A supplementary review of the summary of policymakers assessing the relationship between science-policy platforms will be presented in the following categoriesOpen from May 13 to June 2, 2024
If you wish to participate in the second external review of the relationship assessment as an expert reviewer, you need to follow these steps:
1) First of all, you need to register as an ipbes** user;
2) In the Register Review Assessment Draft;
3) Once registered, you will receive an email providing confidential access to draft chapters, policymaker summaries, and evaluation glossaries;
4) Comments must be submitted in English, using the Excel comment template available on the same webpage as the draft document;
5)Comments must be submitted electronically via IPBES**;When you're ready to submit your comments, please do so at theJanuary 21, 2024The draft document was previously used on the same page as the ".Add a commentbutton to upload the completed excel template (you must be logged in to upload the template).
