Feng Dazhen, former vice chairman of the CPPCC Autonomous Region, donated 2,737 pieces of family archives that had been treasured for many years to the Changji Hui Autonomous Prefecture Archives free of charge. On December 8, the donation ceremony was held at the museum.

It is understood that the batch of archival materials donated by Feng Dazhen involves many categories, spanning from the 50s of the last century to 2021, which is the largest number of collections of Changji Prefecture Archives over the years, and has permanent preservation and cultural value. Feng Dazhen was born in October 1930, participated in the revolution in April 1949, joined the Communist Party of China in July 1951, and served as a member of the Standing Committee of the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region Committee of the Communist Party of China, head of the Propaganda Department, and president of the Party School.

Ma Jianxin, director of the Changji Prefecture Archives, said that the archives donated by Comrade Feng Dazhen record and reflect the process of promoting economic and social development and the continuous reform and development of democracy and rule of law in the autonomous region. Zhang Guoliang, Xiong Huiyin and other veteran comrades attended the donation ceremony. The Propaganda Department of the Autonomous Regional Party Committee, the General Office of the Autonomous Regional Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, and relevant responsible comrades of Changji Prefecture also attended the donation ceremony.
