1. Reservists refer to citizens who have fulfilled their military service obligations in accordance with the law and have been pre-assigned to the active forces of the Chinese People's Liberation Army or to serve in the reserve forces of the Chinese People's Liberation Army.
Reservists are divided into reserve officers and reserve soldiers. Reserve soldiers are divided into reserve sergeants and reservists. Reservists are members of the national armed forces and are an important part of the replenishment of active forces in wartime.
2. The political work department of the Military Commission is responsible for organizing and guiding the management of reservists, the national defense mobilization department of the Military Commission is responsible for organizing the organization of reservists, mobilizing and recruiting and other related work, and other departments of the Military Commission are responsible for the relevant work of reservists in accordance with their duties and division of labor.
Units with reservists are responsible for the political education, military training, performance of tasks, selection and supplementation, daily management, and withdrawal from the reserves.
3. Reserve rank.
Reserve ranks are divided into reserve officer ranks, reserve sergeant ranks, and reserve officer ranks.
The rank of reserve officer is set up in the second class and seven ranks:
1) Reserve Officers: Reserve Colonels, Colonels, Lieutenant Colonels, Majors;
2) Reserve Lieutenant Officer: Reserve Captain, Lieutenant, Second Lieutenant.
The rank of reserve sergeant is divided into three ranks and seven ranks:
1) Reserve Senior Sergeant: Reserve Sergeant Major 1st Class, 2nd Sergeant Major, ** Sergeant Major;
2) Reserve Intermediate Sergeant: Reserve Sergeant 1st Class, 2nd Sergeant;
3) Reserve junior sergeant: reserve sergeant, corporal.
There are two ranks of reservists: reserve privates and privates.
4. Conscription. After the state issues a mobilization order or the military commission takes the necessary national defense mobilization measures in accordance with the law, the troops shall, in accordance with the order of the higher authorities, promptly issue a call notice to the reservists who have been called up, and notify the people's military service organs and units of the counties, autonomous counties, cities not divided into districts, and municipal districts where their reserves are registered.
After receiving the call-up notice, reservists must report to the designated place at the specified time as required. After the State issues a mobilization order, reservists who have not yet received a call up notice may not leave the place of reserve registration without the approval of the military service authority of the unit and the place where the reserve is registered;Those who have already left shall immediately return or stand by in place.
5. Treatment guarantee.
Reservists are entitled to service allowances in accordance with regulations;During the period of participating in war, participating in military training, undertaking combat readiness duties, and performing non-war military operations, they shall enjoy mission allowances in accordance with regulations.
During the period when reservists participate in wars, participate in military training, undertake combat readiness duties, and perform non-war military operations, they shall enjoy corresponding subsidies and subsidies for food and transportation in accordance with regulationsAmong them, where reservists are staff members of organs, organizations, enterprises, and public institutions, the units to which they belong shall maintain their original salaries, bonuses, benefits, insurance, and other benefits.
The standard of allowance and subsidy for reservists and the method of adjustment thereof shall be determined by the ** Military Commission.
Reservists who participate in the war enjoy the same medical treatment as soldiers;During the period of participating in military training, undertaking combat readiness duties, and performing non-war military operations, they shall enjoy the corresponding medical treatment of the state and the military in accordance with regulations.
Military medical institutions provide priority medical services and other services for reservists in accordance with regulations.
