With the invasion of the cold wave and the sudden drop in temperature, many people choose to use "little sun" heaters, electric blankets and other ways to resist the cold. However, these heating devices can also be dangerous if they are not used properly. A few days ago, a fire broke out in a resident's home in Shaanxi Province because the electric blanket was not turned off when he left home. Firefighters rushed to the scene immediately after receiving the alarm, but due to the rapid development of the fire, the resident's bedroom was still burned to the ground.
In order to make everyone intuitively feel the danger caused by improper operation and use of heating equipment, firefighters have done a set of tests.
Firefighters place flammable items such as lighters, gel water, and clothing close to electric heaters, and as the temperature gradually rises, the items change to varying degrees.
Fireman: The lighter is the earliest, the lighter happened almost five or six minutes after the test, it has been obviously deformed, the clothes are about thirteen minutes, the temperature reaches about 180 degrees, and slowly there is an open flame, followed by the gel, in about 17 minutes, the bottle has begun to melt obviously.
In winter, some citizens are still Xi using "little sun" heaters and other baking clothes. Firefighters covered a quilt over the "Little Sun" heater, and in less than eight minutes, the quilt was set on fire.
Fireman: Now that the test time has reached about 7 minutes and 30 seconds, you can clearly see that there is a fire in the middle, and the fire has begun to spread to all sides.
