IT Home reported on December 14 that Apple launched the second-generation AirPods Pro earbuds equipped with a USB-C interface charging case in September this year, but the company did not sell this new USB-C interface charging case separately at first.
Until recently, Apple finally launched the MagSafe Charging Case (USB C) for the second-generation AirPods Pro, priced at $99 in the US and 749 yuan in China.
The MagSafe Charging Case for AirPods Pro Gen 2 features a U1 chip for precise find and IP54 protection against dust, sweat, and water.
Of course, it can be charged with an Apple Watch charger or MagSafe charger, or it can be charged via a USB C port or a Qi-certified charger.
In addition to the USB-C port, the charging case will also offer lossless audio support when paired with Apple's Vision Pro headset, a feature not available in the Lightning charging case version.
With the release of the iPhone 15 series models and the USB-C AirPods Pro 2 earbuds, Apple's iPad, iPhone, AirPods, Apple Watch and Mac have all adopted the USB-C port.
