At 16:40 on December 4, 2020, a major fire accident occurred in the underground mine of Jiaoshuidong Coal Industry in Yongchuan District, Chongqing, resulting in 23 deaths, 1 serious injury, and a direct economic loss of 26.32 million yuan. The direct cause of the accident was the illegal use of oxygen in the pump room Liquefied petroleum gas cut the suction pipe of the water pump, and the falling high-temperature slag ignited the deposited oil scale and rock seepage oil, and a large amount of toxic and harmful smoke produced by combustion spread to the air inlet lane.

At about 18:30 on November 20, 2023, a fire broke out in Tiantianrun Textile Technology ***, Qianzhou Street, Huishan District, Wuxi City, Jiangsu Province, causing 7 deaths.

Hazardous chemicals
On December 28, 2021, Shanxi Linfen Dyeing and Chemical (Group) Co., Ltd. organized maintenance personnel to weld the steam leakage point at the junction of the steam jacket of the discharge pipeline and the material pipeline in the nitrate workshop, and an accident occurred, resulting in 4 deaths. In the case of welding operations without obtaining the welder's operation qualification certificate and failing to take safety measures such as disconnecting the pipeline, cleaning and replacement, the hot workers violated the electric welding operation, resulting in the strong thermal decomposition of the acidic 2,4-dinitrochlorobenzene in the pipeline**.
Fireworks
At about 7:32 on December 4, 2019, an accident occurred in the packaging operation area of Bixi Fireworks Manufacturing Co., Ltd., Liuyang City, Hunan Province, resulting in 13 deaths, 17 injuries (including 3 serious injuries), 5 workshops were all damaged, 19 workshops and 323 buildings (buildings) around the factory were damaged to varying degrees, and the direct economic loss was 194460,000 yuan. The cause of the accident was that when the workers of Workshop 13 moved a solid-bottomed plastic basket containing "Cailei" medicine cake out of the workshop, due to the friction between the medicine cake and the residual drug in the basket, the ignition wire and tail medicine of the medicine cake were ignited, and the "color thunder" medicine cake and the surrounding medicine cake in the basket were detonated.
Poisoning
On January 10, 2023, a poisoning accident occurred during sewage pumping operations at a sewage treatment station in a printing and dyeing company in Shaoxing, Zhejiang, resulting in 3 deaths and 3 injuries.

At 19:20 on November 6, 2023, a partial collapse occurred at the Yuecheng Sports Club in Huanan County, Jiamusi City, Heilongjiang Province, with a total of 7 people at the scene, of which 3 were killed and 1 was slightly injured. The cause of the accident is still under investigation.

Transportation
At about 7:30 on February 8, 2023, affected by snowfall, 5 rear-end collisions occurred 8 kilometers in the direction of Gaolan in the Fujiayao section of Shuiqin Expressway in Lanzhou, Gansu Province, involving an area of about two kilometers and involving more than 20 motor vehicles, causing minor injuries to vehicles and interrupting road traffic.
Fishing vessels
On February 8, 2023, the Antigua and Barbuda-flagged general cargo ship "BBCONYX" collided with the Fujian Lianjiang-flagged fishing vessel "Minlianyu 60996" about 18 nautical miles southeast of Dongyi Island in the Matsu Islands on its way from Yangzhou Port in Jiangsu Province to Singapore. The accident caused the sinking of the ship "Minlianyu 60996", one person died and seven people were missing.

Gas
At about 6 o'clock on January 25, 2021, an accident occurred near Jinbo Haijing, Youyi Street, Jinpu New District, Dalian, Liaoning Province, the cause of the accident was the lack of soil support at the bottom of the pipeline, resulting in the partial suspension of the accident pipeline, the lack of anti-corrosion coating in the weld area of the pipeline crack, and the cracking and leakage of the pipeline girth weld through the underground space such as underground cables and other underground spaces to form **gas, which occurred in case of open flame. During the rescue process, another accident occurred in a nearby auto repair shop, resulting in 3 deaths and 8 injuries.
