On the evening of December 12, the 2023 "Fa Yu Huazhang: Chasing Dreams and Sailing" welcome party of the School of Law was held in the audience hall of Wenhao Hall. Lu Minzhi, Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Law, Wang Junbai, Dean, Hu Bo, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Vice Dean, Hua Mang, Chairman of the Labor Union, Wan Yi, Assistant to the Dean, Wang Dongdong, Dean of the Department of Sociology, Wang Peipei, Secretary of the Party Branch of the Department of Sociology, Ding Wei, Secretary of the Academic Affairs Committee, Xu Yajing, Secretary of the Youth League Committee, all the counselors and the class teachers of the 2022 and 2023 classes attended the party and sang with more than 400 students to share this audio-visual feast.
The party was divided into three chapters: "Yuxin, Kaifeng Together", "Growth, Shining Streamer", and "Chasing the Wind, Meeting and Chasing Dreams". The performances covered a variety of art forms such as singing and dancing, instrumental music, cross talk, and catwalks, showing an open and inclusive cultural concept and a rich and colorful campus life. The melody sounded, and the evening officially kicked off with the warm-up performance "Tornado" by an unnamed band. Wang Junbai, Dean of the School of Law, delivered a speech, extending a warm welcome to the leaders, teachers and students who came to the party, and giving deep blessings and expectations. The first chapter, Yuxin and Kaifeng advance together. The dance "drama" was full of vitality and ignited the audience, telling the color of youth and infinite possibilities with dance steps. The students of the class of 2022 and 2023 presented a creative performance "WOTA Art", combining **, dance and visual arts, to present a highly innovative and infectious light show. The dance "Love Me Hate Me" shows youth and vitality with bright dance steps with a distinct rhythm. The second chapter, growth and sparkling. The catwalk "Elf in the Smoke" shows multiculturalism with a fantastic dream, bringing a visual feast to the audience. Cheng Yifan (Class of 2023), Gao Yijia (Class of 2022) and Chen Shihui (Class of 2021) and other students presented a dance skewer "Insomnia Apple Juice", highlighting the vitality of law school students between fast and slow, dynamic and static. Social worker 2103 Gao Haosen and law 2102 Zhang Lu collaborated on the cross talk "Reverse Lights", which was full of fun and laughter, leading the students to appreciate the charm of traditional culture. Class of 2023 Liu Yuxuan, Asbull and other students brought a dance performance "How to Sigh", using dance to send lovesickness and show the euphemistic and subtle classical beauty. All the students of the 2303 class of law brought the chorus song "Blue and White Porcelain", which was tactful and depicted with singing to depict the elegant and long ancient rhyme of the south of the Yangtze River.
The third chapter, chasing the light, meeting and chasing dreams. The students of Law 2303 collaborated on "Mini World" to start a wonderful journey with small dance steps, showing innocence and vitality. Class of 2022 Wulan and Mailiwati brought the Kazakh dance "Felt Hope", dancing swaying, with long skirts fluttering, showing the national style. The instrumental music department of the school's art troupe brought the folk music ensemble "Shengshi Chinese Music", which flowed with music and conveyed good wishes for the prosperity of the mountains and rivers and the prosperity of the country. Law 2203 Nurshash and Li Kainuo brought the song "Rose in the Palm of the Hand", with melodious melody, igniting the sincere dream light, telling the love and dreams of the rose.
