The final stage of the new U20 Women's Asian Cup will be played in Uzbekistan from 3 to 16 March. The format shows that the 8 teams participating in this tournament will be evenly divided into two groups for a single round-robin match. The top two teams from each group advance to the semi-finals and qualify for the final stage of this year's U20 Women's World Cup. The Women's Under-20 World Cup will be played in Colombia from August 31 to September 22.
The draw results show that the Chinese U20 women's football team is in Group B with the Japanese U20 women's football team, the North Korean U20 women's football team, and the Vietnam U20 women's football team, facing a severe competition situation for qualifying. Hosts Uzbekistan U20 Women, South Korea U20 Women, Australia U20 Women and Chinese Taipei U20 Women are in Group A. In this way, there is not much difference in the difficulty of competition between the two groups.
According to the plan, the Chinese U20 women's football team will gather in Kunming around the 20th of this month. After about one month of training, the whole team plans to go to Europe to warm up.
