In daily office Xi, we often perform summation operations on data in excel, but sometimes we find that if ** contains empty cells, errors will occur when summing (as shown in Figure 1), so how can we solve this kind of summation error generated by "false" empty cells?Next, I will share with you how to do it. Excel Tips
Methodological steps
Method 1: Segmentation
1. Open Excel**, select the column with empty cells and the summing error, and click[Data] - [Breakdown].to display the Text Column Wizard dialog box.
2. In the Text Column Wizard dialog boxClick Done, so that the summation calculation will return to normal, the empty cells will not affect the calculation, and the number of empty cells in the same way can be set as many times as there are.
Method 2: n function
1. In the first sum result cell, enter:=n(a2)+n(b2)+n(c2), and thenPress Enterkey to convert all cells to numeric values, and then the calculation will not produce errors.
Note: The function of the n() function is to return the value converted to a numeric value.
2. Move the mouse to the lower right corner of the first sum cellWhen the cursor changes to a black + sign, double-click the left mouse button to fill in the n function formula downward, so that all summation calculations with "false" spaces will return to normal.
