No major regional animal epidemics have been reported in various places, and the national animal epidemic situation is generally stable, which has effectively guaranteed the safety of animal husbandry production, public health and national biosecurity. However, the prevention and control of animal diseases in China is still facing many uncertainties, and the situation is still complex and severe. The meeting emphasized that it is necessary to adhere to the problem-oriented, goal-oriented, and result-oriented, adhere to the prevention and control of human and animal diseases, and move the gate forward, implement active defense and active management, keep an eye on high-risk periods such as the cold season in winter and spring, and the flood season, and do a good job in the normalized prevention and control of major animal diseases such as African swine fever and highly pathogenic avian influenza, and persistently do a good job in the prevention and control of key zoonotic diseases such as cattle and sheep disease and schistosomiasis, and make overall plans for the prevention and control of foreign animal diseases and seasonal common diseases, and strive to maintain the bottom line of no major regional animal epidemics. Organize centralized immunization of animal diseases in spring and autumn, and vigorously and orderly promote the "first fight and then supplement". We will continue to carry out animal disease purification and regional management, speed up the construction of cattle and sheep disease purification sites, disease-free communities and disease-free areas, and comprehensively promote the regional prevention and control of major animal diseases such as African swine fever. Accelerate the promotion of paperless issuance of certificates, smooth the channels for sharing information on animal quarantine supervision, and improve the level of smart supervision. Actively promote the strengthening of the construction of the grassroots animal epidemic prevention system, improve the epidemic monitoring and early warning network, and gradually improve the supervision and service capacity. At the same time, strengthen emergency management, strictly regulate the handling of sudden epidemics, and do a good job in post-disaster animal epidemic prevention work such as floods and floods to ensure that there is no major epidemic after the disaster.
