The first and most important step in getting the certificate is "Successful Registration"!In order to successfully register, you must first meet the registration requirements. However, the following categories of people do not meet the application requirements:
1. There are not enough grades
Most provinces will emphasize the grade restriction when issuing the announcement of the registration for the written examination for the teacher qualification certificate, and generally require the year of college graduation and the third year of undergraduate college to apply for the teacher qualification examination.
If you do not meet the grade requirements and apply for the exam in advance, it is likely that the results will be invalid, resulting in the inability to interview or recognize, and you will need to bear the consequences.
Each province has slightly different requirements for grades, and the specific announcement requirements shall prevail.
2. Insufficient academic qualifications
According to the provisions of the Teachers Act:
Kindergarten teacher qualifications should have a preschool normal school graduation and above;
To obtain primary school teacher qualifications, students shall have graduated from a secondary normal school or above;
Those who have obtained the qualifications of junior high school teachers and primary vocational school cultural and professional course teachers shall have a college degree or above from a higher normal college or other university;
Teachers who have obtained senior middle school teacher qualifications and teacher qualifications for secondary specialized schools, technical schools, vocational high school Chinese courses, and professional courses shall have a bachelor's degree or above from a higher normal college or other university;
The academic qualifications required to obtain the qualifications of Xi instructors for students in secondary specialized schools, technical schools and vocational high schools shall be prescribed by the administrative department of education
To obtain a teaching qualification in a school of higher learning, one shall have a graduate or bachelor's degree.
The registration for junior high school and middle school in some test districts is relaxed to college degrees, and the details still depend on the latest registration announcement of the test district.
3. Registration is restricted in the region
Social candidates should pay special attention to the place where the household registration or residence permit (within the validity period) is applied. The place of residence of Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan residents who have obtained a residence permit or the place where they have taken the teacher qualification examination. Candidates from other places must get a residence permit before registration, and a temporary residence permit will not work!
Students can register at the location of the school they are attending, and they must select the examination area of the city where the student is registered as the examination area when registering.
Applicants for college teacher qualifications need to apply for the examination in the province or city where the higher education institution is located.
Active-duty military personnel and active-duty armed police officers apply for the examination at the place of service.
4. Have a record of violations
According to the relevant regulations, the following groups of people are not allowed to participate in the primary and secondary school teacher qualification examination:
1.Those who have been revoked as teachers shall not be allowed to register for examinations for 5 years;
2.Those who have been deprived of political rights, or who have intentionally committed a crime and received a criminal punishment of fixed-term imprisonment or higher, must not register for the examination;
3.Those who cheat in the teacher qualification examination and are punished by a ban in accordance with the "Measures for Handling Violations in National Educational Examinations" must not register for the examination during the prohibition period.
