Polyurethane wastewater is a kind of high-concentration, refractory organic wastewater, which contains a large amount of organic matter, ammonia nitrogen, total phosphorus and other pollutants, which has a serious impact on the water environment and human health. Therefore, it is of great significance to study the treatment process of polyurethane wastewater to protect the environment and human health.
The polyurethane wastewater treatment process generally includes three stages: pretreatment, main treatment and advanced treatment.
1) Pretreatment stage: mainly through physical methods to remove large particles of suspended solids and organic matter in wastewater, including grids, grit tanks, primary sedimentation tanks and other facilities.
2) Main treatment stage: mainly through chemical and biological methods to remove pollutants such as organic matter, ammonia nitrogen and total phosphorus in wastewater, including aeration tanks, biological filters, oxidation ponds and other facilities.
3) Advanced treatment stage: further removal of pollutants in wastewater through physical and chemical methods, including activated carbon adsorption, ion exchange, reverse osmosis and other facilities.
The polyurethane wastewater treatment process is one of the important means to protect the environment and human health. Although the process has been widely used in practice, further research and improvement are still needed to reduce operating costs, improve treatment efficiency, and reduce the generation of secondary pollution.
