Rulai sent four masters and apprentices—Tang Seng, Sun Wukong, Sha Seng and Zhu Bajie—to the East to preach. They have endured countless hardships and dangers, faced unknown challenges and dangers.

Along the way, they encounter all kinds of youkai. These youkai are all there to thwart their progress in order to protect their territory and interests. However, the four masters and apprentices were not intimidated by these yokai, and with their wisdom and courage, they defeated the yokai again and again.

However, as their journey progresses, they gradually discover a shocking truth: these monsters are not without a backstage, but are related to some immortals in the Heavenly Court. This caused the four disciples to be confused and angry, and they began to doubt the true purpose of this missionary journey.

Disappointed and angry at first, the sand monk decided to leave the group and burrow into the quicksand river. Zhu Bajie also felt disappointed and helpless, he hid in Gao Laozhuang and lived a reclusive life. Only Sun Wukong and Tang Seng were left to move on.

After learning the news, Rulai in the Heavenly Court decided to discuss with the other immortals in the Heavenly Court to solve Sun Wukong on the condition of ensuring the safety of Tang Seng. They believe that the Monkey King is the biggest threat to their interests.

Sun Wukong was crushed under Wuzhi Mountain, and he felt very helpless and angry. He knew that he had been betrayed, but his belief in still firmly protecting Tang Seng had not changed.

Tang Seng continued to preach in Chang'an until his death. He spent his life working for the spread of Buddhism, and despite the numerous difficulties and challenges he encountered, he never gave up on his faith.

Five hundred years later, Sun Wukong jumped out from under Wuzhi Mountain, and he made a big fuss in heaven without saying a word. He defeated all the immortals and turned the entire heavenly court upside down. Then he turned himself into a stone and lay there quietly, as if telling his story.
