Unforgettable attractions from Jiangyin to Qiandeng Ancient Town, Qiandeng Ancient Town in Kunshan, come here, it is the afternoon, the golden sun shines on the pagoda of the ancient town, there is already a "beauty tower" called Qinfeng Pagoda is more gorgeous and dazzling.

Stepping on the Hengsheng Bridge, the scenery of the ancient town is in full view, a typical water town in the south of the Yangtze River, the river is vertical and horizontal, the small bridge flows water, and the water and land go hand in hand, and there are many dots. A Qiandeng Pu runs through the north and south, and the river surface is relatively wide and calm as a mirror. Leaning on the railing near the water, but seeing the rippling water, the shadow of the ancient tower bridge, the white walls and tiles, and the neatly arranged canopy boats on the river in the distance form a beautiful landscape.

Walking into the ancient town, the most attractive thing is the wonderful pagoda and the mysterious Yanfu Temple under the tower. Yanfu Temple was founded in Liang Tianjian two years, that is, 503 A.D., has a history of more than 1500 years, there is a brick carving wall in front of the temple mountain gate, adopts the form of "three drops of water", symbolizes auspiciousness, wealth and health, the mountain gate hangs the plaque of "Yanfu Temple", the whole temple shines brightly under the light of the sunset.

Entering the temple, you will be greeted by the Qinfeng Pagoda, which is the symbol of Qiandeng Town, and is also known as the "Beauty Pagoda" because of its beauty, and also has a history of more than 1,500 years. Qinfeng tower can be climbed, the tower is more than 40 meters high, the iron gourd is the top, the four corners are tied with copper bells, the gust of wind blows, the bell is pleasant, it makes people feel refreshed and happy. I climbed the pagoda, the ancient town of Qiandeng was in front of my eyes, the ancient houses and alleys, the small bridges and flowing water, the wind was elegant and simple. At present, the temple is neatly regulated, the majestic Daxiong Treasure Hall, the bell tower and drum tower, and the two thousand-year-old ginkgo trees, towering into the clouds, full of ancient meaning.

Qiandeng Ancient Town is a famous historical and cultural town in Jiangsu Province, where it is rich in natural treasures and outstanding people, and is known as the reputation of "Golden Thousand Lights". This place is at the junction of Wu and Vietnam in ancient times, the war is continuous, in order to resist the enemy, more than 1,000 beacon towers were built, and later the beacon tower became a mound, here is called "thousand dun", in 1966 changed its name to a thousand lights.

In order to live up to its name, there is a Thousand Lanterns Hall, which exhibits thousands of ancient lamps from various periods such as the original Hongshan culture, Han Dynasty bronze, Western Jin celadon, Northern and Southern Dynasties yellow glaze, Tang Dynasty blue glaze, Song, Liao, and Yuan three-color kilns, and Ming and Qing pastels. All kinds of things opened my eyes, which can be called the world of ancient lanterns, with the theme of "Light for a Hundred Generations".

I didn't know before I came to Qiandeng that this was the birthplace of Kunqu Opera, Kunqu Opera came out of Kunshan, and Kunshan Kunqu Opera was in Qiandeng. Qiandeng is the birthplace of Kunqu Opera, the world's oral and intangible cultural heritage of mankind and the ancestor of a hundred operas. Kunqu opera was founded by Gu Jian, a thousand lamps in Kunshan at the end of the Yuan Dynasty and the beginning of the Ming Dynasty, commonly known as the "Kunshan dialect" and known as the "ancestor of a hundred operas". Qiandeng is the hometown of silk and bamboo in the south of the Yangtze River, there are Tang Dynasty writers, poets, and Tao Xian, the founder of Jiangnan silk and bamboo, Tao Xian is a descendant of Tao Yuanming, he is good at writing lyrics and composing music, playing the piano and plucking the strings, and singing on stage. The Ming Dynasty dramatist Tang Xianzu and the famous man Xu of the Thousand Lights were hired on the ancient stage of the Thousand Lights to perform Tang Xianzu's masterpiece "The Peony Pavilion", which became a major event that year. At that time, the ancient stage was still there, and the Peony Pavilion was also there, and I stood in the Peony Pavilion to feel the eternal charm of Chinese drama.

The most distinctive, the most distinctive, and the most unforgettable thing about Qiandeng is the stone street that stretches for three miles. Qiandeng Stone Street is known as the "First Street in the South of the Yangtze River" and is the longest, best and most complete ancient stone street in Jiangsu Province. Parallel to Cheondengpo and running north-south, the slate is paved with 2,072 stone slabs that have a beautiful name called "Carmine", which can no longer be verified from where they came from.

Walking on the stone street, "stepping on the bluestone slab, a line of sky above my head", I vaguely heard the sound of running water under the stone slab, the quiet streets and alleys, the houses are lined up one after another, the quaint houses, and the Daiwa are scattered, which reminds people of Dai Wangshu's "Rain Alley": "Holding an oil-paper umbrella, wandering alone in the long, long, and lonely rain alley, like a dream-like poignant and confused, I floated beside a lilac-like, sad girl." ”

Walking on the bluestone slab, the special snacks of Qiandeng are in the shops on both sides of this slate street, the end of the slate street is the former residence of Mr. Gu Yanwu, a thinker in the late Ming and early Qing dynasties, a writer and a patriotic scholar

Gu Yanwu's former residence is the best preserved and largest ancient mansion in Shiban Street, covering an area of more than 60 acres, sitting in the east and facing west, with white walls and tiles, and a quiet environment. The former residence Yi'an Hall has five Ming and Qing Dynasty buildings, carved beams and painted buildings, brick carved gatehouse, very fine, has extremely high artistic value. Gu Yanwu was named Jiang at the beginning, alias Tinglin, the word Ningren, later generations called Mr. Tinglin, he saw the demise of the Ming Dynasty and the cruel slaughter of the Qing soldiers, and wrote down the famous words of "the rise and fall of the world, the husband is responsible", and later generations will call him and Huang Zongxi, Wang Fuzhi and the three major Confucians in the late Ming and early Qing dynasties.

When I walked out of Gu Yanwu's former residence, it was already evening, the sun had set, and the shops on both sides of the stone street were lit up. I walked on the narrow and mottled stone street, thinking about the historical figures in the ancient water town of Qiandeng, this stone street seems to be a historical corridor that can never be completed, coming from ancient times and going to the future.
