Rohm and Haas, Dow, DuPont, DOWEX MAC-3LBIONEXCHANGERESIN exchange resin has been discontinued. To meet the water treatment needs of the industrial and power markets, Dupont Water Solutions has updated its portfolio of ion exchange resins. Customers who previously used the Dowex MAC-3LBRESIN will switch to the Amberlite HPR8300HRESIN, which provides comparable performance to the Dowex MAC-3LB. 1.*Evaluate existing systems**: Evaluate your existing water treatment system before replacing resins. Make sure you understand the system's operating conditions, flow rates, and pure water needs.
2.*Gradual Replacement**: To ensure the stable operation of the system, we recommend that you replace the resin step by step. For example, you can mix old and new resins in a certain proportion and observe their impact on system performance, gradually increasing the proportion of new resins until they are completely replaced.
3.Wash and Regenerate**: After replacing the resin, be sure to thoroughly wash and regenerate the ion exchange column according to the manufacturer's recommendations. This will ensure optimal ion exchange performance.
4.Monitoring System Performance: Closely monitor the performance of your system during and after the changeover. Ensure that the water quality is up to the expected standards and record any anomalies for further investigation.
