On the morning of December 14th, all the mathematics teachers of the mathematics group of Rixin Primary School in Qingbaijiang District, Chengdu gathered in the school's smart classroom to carry out teaching and research activities.
During the activity, the teachers listened carefully to the lesson of "Area of Combined Figures" taught by Mr. Wang Youcheng. First of all, Mr. Wang Xi further clarified that rectangles, squares and other figures are called basic figures by reviewing the area calculation methods of basic figures that he has learned, and then introduced the word "combination". Subsequently, Mr. Wang asked students to guide students to calculate the area of the combined graphics through hands-on operation, cooperation and communication, comparative reflection and other activities, so as to feel the diversity and flexibility of problem-solving methods and the method of "transformation" of the combined figures.
