1. Soil. The root system of epiphany is not much, and the requirements for ventilation are relatively high, so the soil for planting epiphany must be loose and breathable. We can choose a better texture of nutrient soil to plant, the nutrient soil is loose and breathable and fertile, not easy to compact, fully in line with the growth Xi of epiphany.
2. Illumination. Epiphyllum likes soft light and is a half-day plant, although it is more shade-tolerant, but it must ensure that there is enough light, its growth rate will be accelerated, and the flowering effect will be better. In spring, autumn and winter, it should receive normal light, but in summer, when the sun is strong, it should be shaded, or moved to a bright scattered light environment for maintenance, otherwise it is easy to sunburn the leaves.
3. Watering. The leaves of epiphyllum are fleshy and pulpy, so the water content of the leaves is very high, and you should not overwater them at ordinary times. Before watering, observe the condition of the leaves, whether they are soft, whether they lack a sense of fullness, and if so, they should replenish water in time. Or press the potting soil with your hands, and find that the potting soil is moist, no need to water, if the pressure soil is very dry, you can safely water it.
Fourth, fertilization. Epiphyllum is very fertilizer-loving, when it grows branches and leaves, with nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium balanced compound fertilizer, applied twice a month, in summer and autumn is its flowering season, should be applied high phosphorus and high potassium fertilizer, to promote its flower bud differentiation, such as potassium dihydrogen phosphate or Hua Duoduo No. 2.
