Dong Fangzhuo.
Dong Fangzhuo (born January 23, 1985), born in Dalian, Liaoning Province, is a former Chinese football player and a striker. At the beginning of 2000, Dong Fangzhuo won the national championship at the national championships. In 2004, Dong Fangzhuo was favored by Manchester United because of his outstanding ability and talent, and joined Manchester United in the Premier League.
In the 2005-06 Belgian Second Division, Dong Fangzhuo scored 18 league goals and won the top scorer in the regular season of the Belgian Second Division, which was the first time that a Chinese player won the Golden Boot award in the European League. On May 10, 2014, Dong Fangzhuo came off the bench to score a world wave and made his debut in the Chinese League. In 2004, Dong Fangzhuo, who was only 19 years old, was bought by Manchester United for 3.5 million pounds, becoming the first Chinese player to officially sign with Manchester United. Dong Fangzhuo was loaned to Antwerp in Belgium shortly after arriving at Manchester United. The 21-year-old Dong Fangzhuo is already a Golden Boot winner in the second division, and 16 years later, he is still the only Chinese player to win the Golden Boot in the European professional league. The 18 league goals in a single season are also the record for a Chinese player to travel in Europe. After returning to Manchester United with the Golden Boot, Dong Fangzhuo also began to play in the Premier League and the Champions League.
On December 13, 2007, the 22-year-old Dong Fangzhuo came off the bench in the final round of the Champions League group stage against Serie A Roma. He played 18 minutes. Although it was his only Champions League experience, United eventually reached this season's Champions League final with Chelsea, where they won the Champions League on penalties.
But Dong Fangzhuo was forgotten because he did not make the final list. It wasn't until Dong Fangzhuo's interview years later that UEFA awarded him a medal in the 2007-08 Champions League.
