Lonza Mycoplasma rapid test, results within 20 minutes

Principles of analysis.

Mycoplasma is cleaved and the released mycoplasma enzyme reacts with the substrate of the mycoplasma detection test kit to catalyze the conversion of ADP into ATP. Measure the pre- (Read A) and post-(Read B) ATP readings to determine whether mycoplasma contamination is present by the ratio of the before and after ATP readings. If there is no contamination, the reading after substrate addition is not much different from the reading before substrate is added, but in the case of mycoplasma contamination, the reading after substrate addition will differ by several times from the reading before substrate application (Figure 1). The new generation of MycoAlert Plus MycoAlert Plus produces a stronger light signal, so it can be used in plate and multi-function chemiluminescence instruments (Figure 2).

Apply. Detects all conventional mycoplasma and steroidal contamination.

It can detect 44 species of mollusk (mycoplasma).

Suitable for screening in a research cell culture environment.

Suitable for testing new media, water, additives (e.g. serum, etc.).

Merit. It only takes two steps to get results in 20 minutes.

Bioluminescence technology eliminates the need for DNA extraction

The new MyCoAlert Plus kit is available in plates with low sensitivity.

Luminometer or multi-function luminometer.

A convenient enzyme analysis control method that can be used to monitor the proper functioning of the system.
