To make two excel files appear side by side at the same time, you can use one of several methods:
Adjust the window manually
Open two excel files.
Drag each excel window to halfway of the screen so that they appear side by side.
Use the Windows window arrangement feature
Open two excel files.
PresswindowsKey +Left arrowkey to resize an excel window to the left side of the screen.
Then, use it for another excel windowwindowsKey +Right arrowkey to adjust it to the right side of the screen.
In Excel 2013 and later, you can open two Excel workbooks in the same instance and use the View option to display them side by side.
Open both workbooks
Open two workbooks in the same excel instance.
Use the View option to display them side-by-side
Click on the "View" tab.
In the Windows group, click View Side-by-Side.
Excel automatically adjusts the two workbook windows so that they are displayed side by side.
Synchronous scrolling(if required):
If you want the two workbooks to scroll synchronously, you can check Synchronize scrolling in the Window group of the View tab. This way, when you scroll in one workbook, the other workbook also follows the scroll.
If you have multiple monitors, you can drag an excel file onto one monitor and another onto the other to display them side-by-side.
