Ge Yujun said that Su Xie Wei's painting is an expression of self-abstract painting based on Chinese abstract art, and the formal language seems irrational, but in fact it is a very rational creative process.

Xi Mu believes that Su Xie Wei's painting has three expressions: first, from the perspective of the structure of the work, it expresses a very restrained expression, through the balance of reason and sensibility, and integrates personal cultivation into the picture.
Second, the expression of abstract elements, abstract expressions, and abstract techniques in painting generally gives people a sense of heaviness. This heaviness reflects the artist's deep thinking about the connotation of the work.
Thirdly, the theme of each painting is to illustrate a positive and optimistic concept, which is the spirit of rational artistic creation after deep thinking.
Su Xie Wei said that since 2008, he has intervened Chinese elements in his paintings, and then produced the "Chinese Gene" series of works, which is a new way of expression. When talking about the feeling of artistic creation, Su Xie Wei said that abstract painting is both emotional and rational. Since abstract painting presents a variety of possibilities, it can also produce a variety of results, and whenever the creation is finished, the painting is instantly solidified.
It is understood that the "Youjuntang Art Salon" activity, as a normalized small art exchange activity created by the Songzhuang Institute of Li Keran Painting Institute, will invite senior experts and scholars in the industry, as well as artists to carry out artistic dialogues and exchanges with their works, and then build a communication platform between experts and scholars, artists and the public, and help the transmission, popularization and development of China's excellent painting art.
