Entering December, Shanghai's sunny attendance rate is very high, and the recent good weather with "sunny and warm" as the main tone also allows everyone to slow down and appreciate the beautiful "colors" of the exclusive autumn and winter season.

In fact, in addition to parks and streets, university campuses are also a beautiful sight. Today, follow the reporter's lens and walk into East China University of Science and Technology, located in Xuhui District, to appreciate the "color" here.

East China University of Science and Technology, formerly known as East China Institute of Chemical Technology, was established in 1952 by the merger of the chemical engineering departments of Jiaotong University (Shanghai), Aurora University (Shanghai), Datong University (Shanghai), Soochow University (Suzhou), Jiangnan University (Wuxi) and other schools. In 1956, it was designated as one of the first schools in the country to recruit graduate students, and since 1960, it has been identified as a national key university directly under the Ministry of Education, and in 1993, it was approved by the State Education Commission and renamed East China University of Science and Technology.

The school has two campuses in Xuhui and Fengxian, covering a total area of 2,127 acres and a total area of 930,000 square meters of various buildings. The Xuhui campus is currently the main campus of the school, with a capacity of 15,000 students.

Walk into the school gate of Meilong Road, the plane tree avenue of nearly 100 meters on both sides of the road leads straight to the inside of the campus, strolling in the campus, you can see the golden fallen leaves everywhere, under the sunlight, you can also feel the warmth of the maple leaves red and the ginkgo biloba yellowing, the trees that have changed color and the old buildings are closely intertwined, constituting a different kind of landscape painting.
