Recently, the results of the national agricultural reclamation yield "big competition" labor competition were announced, and a total of 48 high-yield demonstration models and 47 yield improvement farms were selected after production testing and acceptance and comprehensive evaluation.

The "big competition" labor competition focused on the five major crops of soybean, corn, rice, wheat and rape, and was carried out for high-yield demonstration fields of more than 1,000 acres and whole farms. A total of 406 entities from 19 reclamation areas across the country have signed up to participate, and a large number of high-yield demonstration models and high-yield farms have emerged. Under the guidance of these participants, the reclamation areas actively promoted the application of advanced and applicable technologies and management experience in a large area, carried out technical training exchanges and on-site observations, promoted the further improvement of the coverage and implementation rate of advanced and applicable technologies, promoted the further integration of good land and good seeds, good methods, good opportunities and good systems, and drove a large-scale balanced increase in production in the reclamation area.

According to statistics, the grain yield level of the 406 participating entities increased by 10 percent compared with 20223%, contributing more than 30% to the increase in grain production in the country's agricultural reclamation. At the same time, through the action of "Socialized Service of Agricultural Reclamation + Locality", the "Great Competition" labor competition has been extended to the locality, and the applicable production technology and management mode have been comprehensively promoted and applied, which has effectively driven the local government to improve the yield level in a large area.

The "Great Competition" labor competition was jointly carried out by the Agricultural Reclamation Bureau of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs and the China Agriculture, Forestry, Water Conservancy and Meteorological Trade Union.
