Enlightenment is a state that everyone can experience in their journey through life. There are many paths to enlightenment, one of which is described"The Six Curves of Enlightenment"。These six curves reveal the life process from birth to growth to enlightenment.
The first curve is the growth curve. From infancy to childhood to adolescence and young adulthood, this stage is the stage of rapid growth in life. In this process, we start with a blank sheet of paper, and gradually form a cognition and self-understanding of the world through the accumulation of learning Xi and experience. It is a process of making something from nothing, from ignorance to knowledge. However, when we arrive at the so-called"Peak condition"At that time, we are only at the pinnacle of what we think we are, which is the second curve -- the pinnacle of ignorance.
At this stage, we will be self-satisfied and even blindly confident because of some of the achievements we have achieved. However, this is actually an illusion in our lives, an overestimation of our own abilities and worth. When we really enter the mountains, we will find that there are people outside the world, and there are heavens outside the sky.
This stage is the third curve - the cliff wall. At the cliff wall, our lives will fall from the peak and into the valley of despair in an instant. This gap can be painful and disappointing because we realize that we still have a lot to fall short. However, this stage is not the end, but a new beginning. When we recognize our own shortcomings and admit our mistakes, we will enter the slope of the fourth curve of awakening one by one.
At this stage, we need more time to think and practice, to understand the nature of life. It's a tough slope and many people may give up halfway through, but if we persevere, we can be truly enlightened. Enlightenment is not an end, but a new state of life. In this state we are able to truly understand ourselves and the world, and to experience the wholeness and harmony of life.
This is the fifth curve – the source of enlightenment. At this stage we are able to experience the totality of life, where every moment is full and fulfilling.
The last curve is a double helix curve. It depicts the ups and downs and changes in life. In this curve, we can see that the ups and downs of life are not isolated, but interconnected. Both going up and going down is a part of life. This double helix tells us that life is a whole, and there is no such thing as peaks and valleys. All experiences are designed to allow us to better understand ourselves and the world so that we can experience life more deeply.
What the six curves of enlightenment tell us is a cosmic way, a natural way. It tells us that life is a process of continuous growth and change, whether it is the peak or the trough is a part of life, we should cherish every moment, with an open mind to face the ups and downs of life, only then can we truly become enlightened and experience the integrity and harmony of life.
