Pipe jacking and pipe drawing are commonly used trenchless construction technologies in urban pipeline laying. Without excavating the road surface, it can easily cross roads, railways, rivers, ground buildings, underground structures, etc., and has the characteristics of construction safety, speed, and does not affect ground traffic. There are some significant differences between the two methods when it comes to traversing obstacles, so let's sort them out:1.Difference in principle:Tube jacking:The pipe jacking head is used to break the soil or form a slurry, and the jack pushes the pipe into the soil and gradually jacks towards the opposite receiving well.
Draw the tube:Through procedures such as drilling and reaming, after the pipeline channel is formed, the pipeline is pulled into the channel, which is divided into three stages: descent, level, and ascent.
2.Installation:Tube jacking:In the working pit, the jacking force generated by the jacking equipment is used to push the pipeline into the soil according to the design slope, and the next section of the pipe is pushed into the pipe after the jacking is completed, and the pipe is pushed into it section by section.
Draw the tube:The pipe is put into the pipe by slotting, and then the pipe is dragged back with a tractor machine, which is generally constructed after the pipe is welded and formed.
3.Applicable Pipe Diameter and Pipe Material:Tube jacking:Suitable for large diameter pipes, up to diameter 44m, commonly used rigid materials such as steel pipes, concrete pipes, ductile iron pipes, etc. Draw the tube:It is suitable for small pipe diameter, generally less than 600mm, and uses steel pipes or PE pipes with high toughness and strong tensile strength. 4.Applicable scenarios and construction difficulty:Tube jacking:It is suitable for long distances, large pipe diameters and complex geological conditions, but the construction difficulty and cost are high. Draw the tube:Suitable for small pipe diameters and short distances, construction is relatively simple and costly. When choosing a pipe jacking or pipe drawing, it is necessary to consider the engineering requirements, geological conditions, economic and environmental factors. Pipe jacking construction has high technical requirements and is suitable for large projects, while pipe drawing is more suitable for small projects or occasions with low requirements for ground damage.
