On December 23-24, the award ceremony of the finals of the "2023 5th Integrated Circuit EDA Design Elite Challenge" was successfully held in Nanjing, and the final winners of the competition were announced. As one of the core proposition companies, Silchip not only challenged the questions, but also helped the participating teams show their new strength and innovative thinking in the field of EDA through communication and guidance.
As the first digital EDA company in China, Silchip has been focusing on digital front-end EDA, and the competition titled "FPGA Die-level System Routing Algorithm Design (Digital Integrated Circuit Design Direction)" attracted 57 teams from home and abroad.
These teams demonstrated their deep understanding and innovative application of EDA technology. After fierce competition, 5 teams won the first prize, 9 teams won the second prize, and 13 teams won the third prize. Among them, three teams from Xidian University, Peking University and Southeast University won the Enterprise Special Award.
In addition, the chair of the Silchip competition, namely Qi Zhongdong, a teacher from Xidian University, and Xiao Hui, a software engineer from Silchip, won the professional contribution award in the finals.
With the successful conclusion of the "2023 5th Integrated Circuit EDA Design Elite Challenge", we have not only witnessed the outstanding performance of elite teams from all over the country in the field of EDA, but also seen the strong development potential of domestic EDA technology.
