According to the requirements of the "Electrical Safety Work Regulations", when the live equipment is on fire, a dry powder fire extinguisher should be used to extinguish the fire. Dry chemical fire extinguishers are common fire extinguishers in dry chemical fire extinguishers. It has a wide range of fire extinguishing, good fire extinguishing effect on gas, liquid and live equipment, and is cheap, so it is widely used. However, dry chemical fire extinguishers also have drawbacks. If the fire is not cleaned up as soon as possible after the fire has been extinguished, the insulation of electrical equipment will be seriously affected.
1.Cut off the power supply to the split dashboard box and extinguish the fire.
When an electrical device catches fire, it is very dangerous because it is burned with electricity. Rescuers at the scene should first try to immediately cut off the power supply to the split meter box and then extinguish the fire.
Appropriate and avoidable power outages and fire extinguishing measures.
1) The position of cutting off the power supply should be appropriate to prevent the rescue work from being affected after cutting off the power supply.
2) When close to the power distribution room or the split meter backup board box, the oil circuit breaker, air switch or other load switches that can be switched with load can be disconnected, but the isolation switch can not be pulled with load to avoid danger. Arc short circuit.
3) The power cord should be cut near the bracket in the direction of power supply. Different parts should be cut off separately to prevent the wire from falling after cutting off, causing a short circuit in the line or ground, endangering personal safety.
4) At the fire scene, the insulation performance of the switchgear will be reduced due to moisture or smoke. Therefore, when cutting off the power supply, it should be operated with an insulated operating lever or rubber insulated gloves.
5) When the combustion situation poses a serious threat to the nearby operating equipment, the corresponding circuit breaker and isolation switch should be opened quickly.
2. Extinguish the fire with electricity.
When a fire breaks out in electrical equipment, it is generally necessary to cut off the power supply before extinguishing the fire to reduce the risk of electric shock. But if the fire is so rapid that it is too late to cut off the power supply, or for some reason it is not possible to cut off the power supply. In order to extinguish the fire and prevent the spread of the disaster, on-site fire extinguishing can be carried out.
