Recently, the Provincial Center for Disease Control and Prevention issued the "Notice on Naming the Health Education Base of Shandong Province for 2023-2026", and the Lanshan District Citizen Health Education Experience Center was named "Shandong Health Education Base".
In recent years, the Lanshan District Health Bureau has adhered to the policy of health and health work in the new era, attached great importance to the important role of health education in disease prevention and control, and planned and built the Lanshan District Citizen Health Education Experience Hall by relying on the favorable opportunity of the new construction of the District Center for Disease Control and Prevention, so that health education has a "main front".
The Lanshan District Citizen Health Education Experience Center focuses on the prevention and treatment of infectious diseases, chronic diseases, and occupational diseases, combined with the theme of "reasonable diet, moderate exercise, smoking cessation and alcohol restriction, and psychological balance", and uses multi-talent, electromechanical interaction, virtual reality and other technologies to create an immersive, interactive and situational health education experience center. The building area of the venue is about 590, with 6 functional divisions, 8 exhibition halls and 35 modules, including the prologue hall, chronic disease prevention, infectious disease game, occupational disease prevention and control, health assessment, and tail hall, and 687 places such as health book corner and cultural position.
Since its opening, it has received more than 4,000 visits and experiences, and has undertaken activities such as the Lanshan District College Student Talent Tour, primary and secondary school students' research, the "Little Grass Buddy Hope Hut" caring for children to experience the city, and the "Red Scarf Love Rizhao" social practice camp, and welcomed the observation and study of 14 CDCs in Huanggang City, Weihai City, Binzhou City, Zou City, and Laoshan District, Qingdao, Hubei Province. The experience hall has been named "Rizhao Social Science Popularization Education Base" by Rizhao Social Science Federation, "Rizhao Young Pioneers Off-campus Practical Education Base" by the Youth League Municipal Committee, "Rizhao Science Education Base" by Rizhao Science and Technology Association, and "Rizhao Health Education Base" by the Municipal Health Commission.
