Comrade Mao Zedong is an identity that has been overlooked

Mondo History Updated on 2024-01-31

Yesterday was the 130th anniversary of Comrade ***'s birth. **Comrades have worked hard for the party, the country, and the people all their lives, and it can be said that "they have done everything in the world and won the fame of the world". Among them, there is no one who is more empathetic than the bereavement of the chairman.

His six relatives - eldest brother Mao **, younger brother Mao Zetan, cousin Mao Zejian, wife Yang Kaihui, eldest son Mao Anying, and nephew Mao Chuxiong sacrificed for the revolution. And this is exactly what we want to talk about today, an identity that Comrade ** has been ignored by us - martyrs.

one

Comrade was born on December 26, 1893, his eldest brother Mao was born in 1896, and his younger brother Mao Zetan and cousin Mao Zejian were born in 1905. In 1918, Mao Zetan entered Changsha No. 1 Normal Primary School to study, at this time Mao ** and Mao Zejian were still in their hometown in Shaoshan.

Mao ** inherited his mother's high wind and fraternity"Relatives near and far, all overloaded. Kai compassion and kindness, touched Shuhui". He sympathized with the poor peasants, and when he saw that the landlords were taking advantage of the shortage of grain to raise the price of grain, he tried to get grain from other places and sell it to everyone at a reasonable price. Some fellow villagers really can't afford it, so he simply doesn't want money, or borrows or gives it away. However, Mao ** soon discovered that conscience could not save the old society - the war was in chaos, and the people were not able to make a living, how could it be changed by giving a few catties of food?

Hair**. At this time, Mao Zejian's life was not much better. Mao Zejian's father worked for a landlord, and he suffered from lung disease due to overwork, and his mother suffered from eye disease and was close to blindness. Later, Comrade ***'s father, Mao Yichang, adopted Mao Zejian. However, after the death of Comrade ***'s parents, Mao Zejian had no support for a while. She had to go back to her original home, but she was sent to be a child bride - life is dark and at the mercy of others, where is the way out?

Mao Zejian. Finally, in February 1921, Comrade ** and his younger brother Mao Zetan returned to Shaoshan from Changsha for the New Year. On the evening of the thirtieth day of the Chinese New Year's Eve, Comrade ** and his family observed the New Year. Mao ** told his brother that there were both natural and man-made disasters in the family, and the family situation was not as good as a year. ** Comrades listened and persuaded them,The country is in turmoil and the people are uneasy, so they must give up their families for the country and go out to do something.

As for the family property, Comrade ** said that the house can be lived in by others, the fields can be planted by others, and the money we owe to others can be paid off at one time, and the money owed to us by others will be written off. At the same time, he also helped his cousin Mao Zejian dissolve the marriage contract of his child daughter-in-law. After the Spring Festival, Comrade ** and his family left Shaoshan and went to Changsha. From then on, all of them devoted themselves to the revolution.

After the three brothers and sisters arrived in Changsha, they all took remedial homework at the Hunan Self-Study University founded by Comrade ***, learned progressive ideas, and all joined the Communist Party of China a year or two later. They have made gratifying achievements on all fronts, such as the workers' and peasants' movement, the armed struggle, and the financial and economic rectification.

However, most of the good things were not strong - neither the brother nor the sister saw the victory of the revolution. In 1928, Comrade Mao Zejian was in Leiyang, Hunan, and was killed by the enemy the following year at the age of 24In 1935, Comrade Mao Zetan was surrounded by the Kuomintang army in Ruijin, Jiangxi Province, and died bravely at the age of 30In 1942, Comrade Mao ** was secretly killed in Xinjiang ** the following year at the age of 47.

Mao Zetan. In addition, it is also worth mentioning that Mao Chuxiong, the son of martyr Mao Zetan and the nephew of Comrade ***, was born in 1927. In 1945, Mao Chuxiong joined the army in the 359th Brigade. In 1946, Mao Chuxiong and two other cadres were secretly executed by the Kuomintang on their way to Xi'an for peace negotiations, and died at the age of 19.

II. II. II

** Comrade's brothers, sisters, and nephews died for the revolution one after another, and his small family was also mutilated by the revolution.

I saw his heart, and he saw my heart completely", "Unexpectedly, I was so lucky to have a lover." I love him very much, and since I heard a lot about him, read many of his articles and diaries, I have loved him."

In the 80s of the last century, when people were repairing the former residence of a martyr in Pancang, Changsha, a manuscript of the above words was found in the cracks of the wall. These words came from the martyr Yang Kaihui. Yang Kaihui was born in 1901, the word Yunjin, the milk name Xia. In 1929, Yang Kaihui felt that the situation was grim, so he wrote down some written materials and hid them in the cracks of the wall of his residence. Half a century later, these manuscripts have resurfaced, showing the world the love story of martyr Yang Kaihui and Comrade ***.

In 1918, Comrade ** arrived in Beijing and was introduced by his teacher Yang Changji to work as an assistant in the library of Peking University. At this time, Yang Kaihui was also in Beijing. **Comrade met Yang Kaihui and had a good impression when he was in Changsha, and he was even more happy to be able to "meet his old acquaintance in another country" in Beijing. After finishing their official duties every day, he and Yang Kaihui either strolled through the Beihai Sea or visited the Forbidden City, they walked through the streets and alleys, talked about their ideals in life, and imagined the future of the country.

Noble souls are always attracted to each other, and finally, good feelings develop into love. In the winter of 1920, the two were married. Since then, Yang Kaihui has been assisting Comrade *** in carrying out revolutionary work, and joined the Communist Party of China in 1921.

Revolutionary companions are always less together and more separated. ** Comrades are running around, running for the revolutionary cause, and have written words for Comrade Yang Kaihui three times. The first time was in 1921. Soon after the wedding, Comrade ** went out for inspection, and his thoughts about his wife were particularly strong. Love starts from the heart, falls on the pen, and becomes a song "Poppy Pillow":

What is the sorrow on the pillow, and the rivers and seas turn over the waves. The night is long, the sky is always difficult to see, and the lonely clothes are covered and the cold stars are counted.

All thoughts are ashes, and there is a shadow left. A waning moon flows westward, and there is no reason not to shed tears about it.

The second time was in April 1923, when Comrade ** went to Shanghai after arranging work in Hunan, and separated from Comrade Yang Kaihui again. Sauvignon Blanc, heart-wrenching. The sorrow and farewell in my heart have nowhere to tell, and once again converge on the pen to become a song "He Bridegroom, Farewell Friend":

Wave your hand away. is even more poignant, bitter and re-complaining. The corners of his eyes and eyebrows seem to be hateful, and the tears are ready to return. I misunderstood the words of the previous book. After the surging clouds and mist, I am considered a confidant in the world and you. People are sick, God knows?

Today, the frost is heavy on the East Gate Road, shining on the half-day waning moon in Hengtang, bleak as promised. The whistle has been broken, and the end of the world has been lonely since then. By cutting off the strands of sorrow and hatred. It is like the Kunlun collapse cliff, and it is just like a typhoon sweeping the world. Heavy than wings, and clouds.

With such a graceful style of words, it is hard to imagine that it came from the hands of Comrade ***. If the world is peaceful, presumably the two of them will stay together for the rest of their lives. However, in that turbulent era, it is always difficult to predict whether the parting will be the prelude to the reunion or the prelude to the eternal formula.

After the August Seventh Conference in 1927, Comrade ** began to prepare for the Autumn Harvest Uprising, while Comrade Yang Kaihui returned to his hometown Bancang to carry out revolutionary struggle. This parting is an eternal secret.

In October 1930, Comrade Yang Kaihui was unfortunateOn November 14 of the same year, he bravely died at the age of 29 at the age of 29. More than a month later, when Comrade ** learned of his wife's sacrifice, he endured his grief and wrote a letter to his wife's cousin Yang Kaiming, in which he wrote: Kaihui's death is not redeemable.

In 1957, Comrade ** wrote lyrics for the martyr Yang Kaihui for the third time, that is, the song "Butterfly Loves Flowers, Answer to Li Shuyi":

I am arrogant, Yang Jun loses the willow, and the willow is light and straight to the sky. asked Wu Gang what he had, and Wu Gang took out osmanthus wine.

Lonely Chang'e stretches her sleeves, thousands of miles in the sky and dances for the loyal soul. Suddenly reported that there was a tiger in the world, and tears flew into a downpour.

In the hearts of Comrade ***, martyr Yang Kaihui is not only the wife he wants to stay with for the rest of his life, but also a comrade with common ideals. "Women are not proud of the loss of their yuan (head) for the revolution." In November 1962, the mother of the martyr Yang Kaihui died, and ** sent a letter to the Yang family: funeral, you can be in the same cave with Comrade Yang Kaihui and my dear wife.

At this time, Comrade ** was 69 years old and as the top leader of the country, he would call Yang Kaihui a martyr with "my dear lady", which shows his deep affection. Even before his death, Comrade ** still remembered the martyr Yang Kaihui.

In 1975, Comrade ** said when chatting with Professor Lu Di: "People always have deep feelings for their childhood, their hometown, and their past friends, and it is difficult to forget, and it is easier to recall and miss these ...... in old age."wrote "Answering Friends", saying "A thousand tears on a branch of spotted bamboo, and a hundred heavy clothes in Hongxia", which is to miss Yang Kaihui, Kaihui is Aunt Xia!"It's hard for us to imagine what kind of complicated feelings the *** comrades in their old age ...... at this timeStill don't speculate, this is the beauty that belongs to them.

In 1990, when the ** Security Bureau was cleaning up the relics of Comrade ***, he found a batch of items that he had carefully collected: an old cotton shirt, an old blue cotton hat, a pair of gray patch socks, and a worn-out white towel. These simple clothes are the relics of the martyr Mao Anying that Comrade *** has treasured for more than 20 years.

Mao Anying is the eldest son of Comrade ***, born in 1922. In 1930, 8-year-old Mao Anying was arrested and imprisoned in the Kuomintang along with his mother Yang Kaihui. After Comrade Yang Kaihui died, Mao Anying and others were released after being rescued by all parties. In 1931, the three Mao Anying brothers were sent to Shanghai and received help from the underground party organization. However, the revolutionary situation took a sharp turn for the worse, and the underground party organizations in Shanghai were destroyed. Mao Anying, one of the three Mao Anying brothers, died of illness, and Mao Anying and his younger brother Mao Anqing lived on the streets of Shanghai until 1936, when the two brothers were found. In 1937, on the instructions of ***, the two brothers were sent to study in the Soviet Union.

Yang Kaihui with Mao Anying and Mao Anqing.

Mao Anying lived in the Soviet Union for nine years. During this period, he mastered Russian, English, German and French, studied the works of Marxism-Leninism and Comrade ***, joined the Communist Party of the Soviet Union, joined the Red Army of the Soviet Union, and participated in the Great Patriotic War of the Soviet Union. At the end of 1945 and the beginning of 1946, Comrade Mao Anying left the Soviet Union and returned to Yan'an to reunite with Comrade *** - this farewell, nearly 20 years.

After Comrade Kishi Ying returned to China, the relationship between party members changed back to the Communist Party of China. Comrade ** did not let Comrade Kishi Ying stay **, but hoped that he would go to a new university - "Labor University". He told Comrade Kishi: You graduated from a Soviet university, but what you learned is only the knowledge in books, only half of the knowledge, which is incompleteYou also need to go to another university to learn the other half. He also instructed Comrade Anying: You must exercise honestly, mingle with the masses, and do not have any special features in your life.

** Comrade entrusted Comrade Anying to a fellow villager in Yan'an in person: teach him to farm, tell him how the crops are grown, and how to grow more grain. At the end of 1946, Comrade Anying returned to his father, and Comrade ** looked at his son's calluses on his hands and was very pleased: This callus is your graduation certificate from the Labor University.

After graduating from Labor University, Comrade Kishi Ying participated in land reform and propaganda work. At this time, it was the War of Liberation, and Comrade ** was busy with strategic command, but he still had a lot of correspondence with Comrade Kian Ying. On October 8, 1947, Comrade ** wrote to Comrade Kishi Ying and instructed him:No matter what a person learns or does, as long as he has enthusiasm and perseverance, and does not have the vanity of individualism that is not in line with the interests of the people, he will always make progress.

Mao Anying. Comrade Anying did not disappoint Comrade ***, and in the face of his cousin's letter asking for an official position, his reply was righteous and stern: "Reactionaries often scold the Communist Party for being unsympathetic and unsympathetic, and if they are referring to this kind of human favor of helping relatives, friends, and fellow villagers and colleagues to become officials and make a fortune, then our Communist Party does not have this kind of 'human affection' and does not talk about this kind of 'human affection'. The Communist Party has another kind of human affection, that is, infinite love for the people and for the toiling masses."

Half a month after the founding of the People's Republic of China, Comrade An Ying married Comrade Liu Siqi and went to work at the Beijing Machinery General Factory in the summer of 1950. He said: I am ready to continue to work in this factory for ten years, and as it progresses, develops, develops, and develops, and develops to develop a complete set of experience in the party's work in the factory, and the above is my ambition.

Mao Anying and Liu Siqi.

However, the international situation is unpredictable, and the fate of individuals has also changed. In 1950, the United States invaded Korea and spread the flames of war to the northeastern border. **Resolutely made the great decision to resist US aggression and aid Korea"They will fight for as long as they want, until they win completely". Comrade Kian Ying signed up for the Volunteer Army, and the first batch of soldiers to fight in Korea arrived in Daeyudong, North Pyongan Province, North Korea, in late October, where he served as a confidential secretary of the General Headquarters of the Volunteer Army. On November 25, when enemy planes attacked Dayudong, Comrade Kian Ying stuck to his post to perform his duties and unfortunately died at the age of 28.

Comrade Anying sacrificed his life for the country and buried his bones on the battlefield, but there were petty people who slandered him. This year is the 73rd anniversary of Comrade Anying's sacrifice, and on November 25, the Chinese Academy of History released a refutation of rumors on its Weibo, Bilibili, WeChat*** and other platforms to correct the name of the martyrs of Anying. In fact, it is better to refute rumors ten times than to punish them once. As the Qing Dynasty scholar Zhang Chao said:Shame on the word, so the gentleman;Pain is a word, so cure the villain.

On January 2, 1951, Comrade ** learned of Comrade Anying's sacrifice, and he said: "There are thousands of sacrifices, and we can't take care of just one person. It's over, so there's no need to say it. On February 21, after listening to a briefing on Comrade Kishi's sacrifice, Comrade ** said: "Fighting always involves death! The volunteers have sacrificed the lives of so many commanders and fighters. Kishi Young is an ordinary warrior, don't take it as a big deal just because it's my son. ”

The words seem light, but the heart is sad. Isn't it a big deal to lose a child when you're old?According to the recollection of Comrade Li Yinqiao, the guard at the time: That night, the chairman ordered a cigarette, and the matchbox was obviously in front of him, but he was looking for it in his pocket, tearful, and did not want people to see that he was crying.

** Comrade's old classmate, Mr. Zhou Shizhao, once complained to him that if he hadn't sent Kishi Ying to North Korea, he would not have sacrificed. Comrade ** responded: As the chairman of *** and as a leader, if I don't send my son to resist US aggression and aid Korea, protect my family and defend the country, whose son will I send?Everyone is like me, if you have a son who doesn't send him to the battlefield, but only sends someone else's son to the front to fight, what kind of leader is this?

Before his death, the martyr Anying always kept asking himself in his diary: Am I qualified to be the son of ***?Later, Comrade Liu Siqi asked Comrade *** this question, and Comrade *** replied: "Qualified, he is my pride." ”

In April 1953, Comrade ** said when he met with Deng Fangzhi, the mother of martyr Huang Jiguang:You have lost a son, I have lost a son, they have sacrificed honorably, we are all martyrs.

Four

The eldest brother Mao **, the younger brother Mao Zetan, the cousin Mao Zejian, his wife Yang Kaihui, the eldest son Mao Anying, and the nephew Mao Chuxiong, the six relatives of Comrade ** sacrificed for the revolution one after another. In fact, if you include martyr Yang Kaihui's cousin martyr Yang Kaiming, cousin martyr Xiang Jun and niece martyr Yang Zhan, as well as martyr Chen Fen, the husband of martyr Mao Zejian, all of them, he has a total of ten relatives who sacrificed their lives for the country - * comrades are of course martyrs. And we, who are accustomed to many identities such as comrade revolutionary, military strategist, poet, etc., ignore his martyrdom status.

** Comrade devoted almost all his social relations to the revolution and to the lofty ambition of "transforming China and the world" that he had set up when he founded the Xinmin Society. On April 19, 1950, Comrade ** replied to his cousin Wen Yunchang, in which he wrote: My brother is alive and well, and he has many children and grandchildren, so he can celebrate.

Many children and grandchildren" are a luxury for a thorough, pure revolutionary. ** Comrades are lonely in their old age, often sitting alone all day long. Reading is his pastime after work.

In 1974, Comrade ** often read ancient texts such as "Withered Tree Fu", "Moon Fu", "Snow Fu", "Don't Fu", "Hate Fu", etc., and the loneliness and sadness in them were overflowing. Reading will also touch the scene and make it difficult for yourself. Tang Youzhi, the doctor who treats the eye disease of Comrade ***, once recalled that in 1975, on the fifth day after he gave the chairman cataract surgery, he heard the chairman's whimper, but instead wept silently, old tears, he hurriedly approached to see that the chairman was reading the Southern Song Dynasty poet Chen Liang's "Nian Nujiao Dengduojinglou". One of the sentences, "What happened to the Six Dynasties, it only became a private plan", I am afraid that it has aroused the infinite emotion of Comrade *** for the development of the country.

Comrades are not gods, they are people. He is not only a person with a dazzling halo of revolutionaries, military strategists, poets, etc., but also a person who has lost several close relatives one after another—a great man, but also an ordinary person; He is a national hero and a relative of martyrs. On the occasion of the 130th anniversary of Comrade ***'s birth, we are full of thoughts and admiration, recalling his achievements, carrying forward his thoughts, inheriting his aspirations, and injecting strong spiritual impetus into the construction of a modern socialist country. We can't cut off history now, and no matter how far we go, we can't forget the way we came, as the general secretary mentioned in his speech commemorating the 130th anniversary of Comrade ***'s birth

The best commemoration of Comrade *** is to continue to push forward the cause he started.
