In the remote countryside, a dilapidated hut nestled against a stream. This is the place where my parents lived, and it was also the cradle where my brother and I grew up. Sunlight pours into the windows, warmly and softly illuminating this tiny space. Pushing open the door, the familiar smell of home came to my face, and the feeling of returning home made my heart surge with a warm current.
Before the dawn of the morning had yet to fall, the sound of smoke rising from the kitchen could be heard. It was Mother preparing breakfast for us. Looking at her graceful figure looming in the smoke, I couldn't help but think of my childhood, when we were all young and my mother's beautiful face was still full of life. Today, the years have left their mark on her face, but she is still there to pay for our lives in obscurity.
The moment I left home for the city, my father told me to take good care of myself and to come home often. His eyes were full of anticipation and reluctance, and I knew that he hoped that I would be able to become a talent as soon as possible. However, the hustle and bustle of the city did not dampen my longing for my hometown and my love for life. Whenever I see people around me arguing over a little thing, I think of the peace and innocence of my hometown. Life there is simple, but it has its own charm.
The people in that small village, their smiles are so sincere and so simple. They will not hesitate to give their vegetable garden to their neighbors, and enthusiastically say in the local accent: "Take it and eat it!".Don't want money. "I can feel that deep love every now and then. Although they did not have affluent living conditions and did not have the high-rise buildings of the city, they had something far more precious than those – the warmth of home and the love between people.
Sometimes I wonder if such a day is really happinessBut when I got home, when I saw those expectant eyes; When I tasted my mother's handmade meal at the table; It was only when I heard my parents snoring softly at night that I understood what true happiness was. It's the most simple and authentic way of life – having a home to go back to, someone to wait for, and something to eat. This ordinary and beautiful state of life makes me feel satisfied and grateful.
In this world, everyone has a different definition of happiness. Some people pursue fame, fortune and power, thinking that they can get happiness if they have them;Others pay more attention to spiritual satisfaction and the improvement of their quality of life. But for me, the happiness I aspire to is such a simple and ordinary state - a home to go back to, someone to wait for, and a meal to eat. This kind of simple happiness is not something that everyone can have, and it is not a dream that can be realized in a short time. On the contrary, it requires us to constantly experience and cherish it in our daily lives. As long as we are willing to slow down and feel the beauty around us, we will find that there are many things in life that are worth pursuing.
Over time, we will grow up slowly**. On this long road, we must learn to cherish all the people and things around us. Because only when we truly know how to cherish our family, relatives and friends, can we appreciate the happiness in life. I hope that everyone who works hard outside can find their own share of the most simple happiness - there is a home to go back to, someone to wait for, and food to eat.
