The Queen's Praise of Obscene Poetry Why does the queen praise an obscene poem

As the saying goes"The palace gate is as deep as the sea", the most unhappy woman in ancient times was the wife in the palace. Some of them may not see the emperor from the time they enter the palace until they die, and even if they are lucky enough to be favored by the emperor, they have to compete with other women for favor.

Compared to ordinary old women, as the emperor's concubines, they endured immeasurable suffering. If they could not get the emperor's favor, they could only enjoy their lives alone, so the palace became crowded.

The most famous court entanglement in history is the love story of Zhao Ji, the mother of Qin Shi Huang, and Chang Yu. There are many queens like Zhao Ji, but only Xiao Guanyin, the empress of Yelu Hongji, was pardoned after her death.

Introduction to the Central Plains. Marriages between royalty and great families were common in many dynasties. In the Liao Dynasty, the Yelu family, as a royal family, often married with other families, and the Xiao family was the first family to be considered for marriage.

According to scholars, 18 of the 20 queens of the Liao Dynasty were born in the Xiao family. Among them is Xiao Guanyin, the first queen of Yelu Hongji.

When Xiao Guanyin was four years old, he was sent to the palace of Yelu Hongji to work"Child bride-in-law", the two were childhood sweethearts and grew up together. Xiao Guanyin has been familiar with poetry and books since childhood, knows the rhythm of music, and plays the pipa very well, which was praised at the time"No. 1 in the world"。

She was very talented, and in addition to playing the pipa, she also occasionally wrote poetry, and was a well-known talented woman at that time. Later, Yelu Hongji ascended the throne as the eighth emperor of Liao, Xiao Guanyin was elected empress, and their son Yelu Jun was made the crown prince.

All this seemed to be the arrangement of fate, and Xiao Guanyin felt that she was just like her name, blessed by Guanyin Bodhisattva. However, the unhappiness in her life began when she became queen.

At that time, after Yelu Hongji ascended the throne, he appointed his younger brother Yelu to be reborn as the emperor's uncle and take charge of the world's soldiers and horses. Yelu Chongsheng had a wife, and when she saw her husband promoted, she wanted to express it, so she took the opportunity of Xiao Guanyin's son to become the crown prince and went to congratulate her.

The original intention was actually good, but this concubine was dressed very well, and her words and deeds were not restrained at all, which made Xiao Guanyin feel a little contemptuous. So he warned her:"How can you, as a royal noblewoman, be like this?"

When the concubine heard this, her face was slightly embarrassed, and she seemed to respond respectfully, but she began to resent Xiao Guanyin in her heart. When she returned home, she often reprimanded him in the ear of Jerod Rebirth"You are all the sons of the previous king, why is your brother the emperor?"

Later, Yelu Chongsheng really listened to his wife's words and planned a rebellion with his son, Shi said"Chongyuan Rebellion"。Later, Yelu Yixin quickly put down the rebellion, restored Yelu Hongji's status, and was named King of Zhao.

Yelu Yixin was a traitor and was promoted until he seized power. At that time, the Liao Dynasty was politically corrupt, and Yelu Hongji did not reform politics, which led to chaos in the entire dynasty. It was in this context that Yelu Yixin's ambitions began to germinate.

Traitors are in charge. Soon after Yelu Hongji ascended the throne, he put his son Yelu Jun in charge of the government, while he ignored the government and drank and had fun. However, he was misled by the words of Yelu Yixin and other ministers, and was unjustly imprisoned many times.

Xiao Guanyin was furious when he saw Yelu Yixin being aggressive in the palace. He persuaded Yelu Hongji many times, but he was reprimanded by Yelu Hongji. In the end, Yelu Hongji got tired of Xiao Guanyin's mother-in-law and began to scold her and snub her.

Yelu Yixin knew Xiao Guanyin's attitude towards him, and thought that it would be difficult for his son to become the emperor, so he tried every means to collude with Xiao Guanyin and Yelu Jun.

Xiao Guanyin thought that if he could save Yelu Hongji's heart, he would be able to persuade her to stay away from the traitors. So, she wrote "Words of the Courtyard" and sent it to her husband, hoping to influence him.

"Words of the Heart Courtyard" has a total of ten songs, telling the affectionate story of Xiao Guanyin and her husband. Xiao Guanyin asked the court musician Zhao Weiyi to compose the music, and Zhao Weiyi lived up to expectations and performed the song gently and movingly, which made people cry.

Xiao Guanyin has many musicians in his family, and Zhao Wei is the most popular. There is also a musician named Shan Deng, who was not convinced by Zhao Weiyi's talent, so he asked him to play a game, but lost.

After losing, he complained to his friend Aoko (Yelu Yixin's lover), and was discovered by Yelu Yixin. She was worried that she couldn't sue Xiao Guanyin and the prince, and this incident gave her a lot of inspiration.

The indulgence in the palace is inexplicable, but such a result is exactly in the hands of Yelu Yixin. Thus, she created the famous"Ten smoke rooms"and successfully achieved their goals.

Historical truth. In order to plot against Xiao Guanyin, Yelu Yixin secretly found someone to make it"Ten incense words", and then bribed Xiao Guanyin's court musician Shan Deng, dedicated the words to Xiao Guanyin, falsely claiming that it was made by the queen of the Song Dynasty, and let Xiao Guanyin"Transcription", i.e., let him transcribe it for his own use.

Xiao Guanyin didn't know that this was Yelu Yixin's trick, and she didn't suspect Shan Deng, she appreciated it very much after reading it, so she wrote this "Nostalgia" poem with her own pen.

Xiao Guanyin's poem was originally to express his feelings about the courtesan disturbing the king's heart, but it was used by Yelu Yixin to play the topic.

He searched for bones in the poem and found the word Zhao Weiyi. He concluded that Xiao Guanyin had an affair with Zhao Weiyi, so he went to Yelu Hongji to expose it.

Yelu Hongji immediately announced that Xiao Guanyin had come to the temple. Xiao Guanyin couldn't make up her mind for a while, until she took out the hand-copied "Ten Fragrance Words".

Xiao Guanyin immediately began to defend himself:"I am already the most honorable woman in the world. I have bore you many sons, and now I have grandchildren. To do such a shameless thing?"

Yelu Hongji said angrily"This is your credit, do you still want to deny it?"Xiao Guanyin said:"This is my handwriting, but the words were written by Empress Huijian of Song, and I just helped copy them at the request of the palace people. "

When the two confronted each other, Yelu Hongji was not convinced, and in a fit of rage, he slashed at Xiao Guanyin with two iron-bone swords, almost killing her on the spot.

Subsequently, Yelu Hongji ordered Yelu Yixin to bring Zhao Weiyi to be tortured, and finally forced him to confess. Annoyed and angry, Yelu Hongji executed Zhao Weiyi Lingchi. Xiao Guanyin was so grief-stricken that he wrote a mourning poem with tears in his eyes, and then hanged himself.

Many years after Xiao Guanyin's death, his grandson apologized to him, saying that all this was planned by Yelu Yixin, who thus became the most famous traitor in the history of the Liao State.

However, after the destruction of the remnants of Liao, the iron spears of the Jin soldiers trampled all over the Central Plains, and Xiao Guanyin's bones were pulled out of the mausoleum and trampled on immorality, and a generation of empresses ended up in such a sad and lamentable.

The above are all details recorded in historical materials, but history is written by people, is there another hidden meaning? Many scholars have questions about this.

First of all, when it comes to "Ten Fragrance Words", Xiao Guanyin's imperial pen as a maid is difficult to understand. Moreover"Ten incense words"The content is very rough, how can she not see it after reading it?

Also, in the poem"Although the yellow bed is sultry, ordinary people are not strange to the temple"It seems to imply something, too. Although scholars have various doubts, they all believe that the "Ten Fragrance Words" may have been written by Xiao Guanyin or Zhao Weiyi.

Xiao Guanyin fell out of favor since he was a child and was at odds with the courtiers, which is understandable. It's just that his descendants distorted some history in order to create a beautiful image of him. I'm afraid the truth can only be known to those who have witnessed it.
