Juventus have reportedly agreed a new five-year contract with Brazilian centre-back Gleson Bremer. Since joining the club in 2022, Bremer has been a key figure in the Nerazzurri's defence, scoring six goals and providing one assist in 60 appearances. The 26-year-old has played an important role in Juventus' Serie A campaign this season, playing in all 17 games and helping the team remain unbeaten in nine games.
Bremer's current contract with the club expires in 2027, but Juventus are hoping to reward his performance with a better one. Previous reports have suggested that Bremer representatives are close to finalising a contract extension, and now journalist Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that he has agreed to extend his contract until 2028 and is expected to raise his salary. The official announcement is expected in the coming days.
Juventus have been active in ensuring the long-term development of their players, with several other players, including Fabio Miretti, Kenan Ildiz, Niccolò Faggioli, Federico Gatti and Manuel Locatelli, already signing new contracts. The club is also working to extend Adrian Rabiot's contract beyond 2024. Juventus, who currently sit second in the Serie A standings, aim to maintain a competitive edge by retaining key players like Bremmer.
