Recently, as the Spring Festival approaches, the company has also begun to organize the filling of the annual mid-year performance form as a performance appraisal material.
I thought that I had been writing for a few months, and my writing level should be improved, and it should not be difficult to fill out a performance appraisal material.
It didn't turn out to be as simple as I expected, and I was stuck at the beginning of writing.
Because I found that I had lost my impression of the projects I had done this year, and for a while I couldn't think of what important things I had done this year.
At this time, I suddenly understood why so many excellent people choose to do daily, weekly, and monthly plans and reviews.
On the one hand, it is to review their own experience and make timely improvements against their own goals.
On the other hand, in order to record my life, when I look back at the end of the year, I will not feel that this year has been in vain.
In recent months, I've also joined Rolls-Royce's community and learned how to review.
Although I check in and review in the community every day, I ignore a major problem.
My daily review is limited to my own life and study, and I don't do any review at work.
After realizing this problem, I found a truth:
When we learn a skill, the initial way must be to imitate, but if we stay in the imitation stage and don't know how to draw inferences, then it is difficult to really master this skill.
The process of drawing inferences from one case is an opportunity to test whether we have really learned, and it is also an opportunity for us to learn a second time.
Many times we think we have learned a certain knowledge or a certain skill, but in fact we have just learned how to imitate our own teacher.
And what we thought we had learned was only learned in the use scenario that the teacher taught.
At this time, if you change the scene, many people may not know how to do it.
For example, when we were in school, we did math application problems, and some students took a notebook of wrong questions, but when they encountered similar problems during the exam, they still made mistakes.
The fundamental reason is that he did not learn to draw inferences, but only understood how to solve the problem that the teacher said, but did not summarize his own set of solution ideas.
The so-called problem-solving ideas in mathematics correspond to work and life, which is the way we do things.
If you learn a knowledge or skill and can't summarize your own set of rules after learning, then you can't be considered to have mastered this knowledge or skill.
Because there is no support from Fang **, when we encounter similar problems, we still don't know how to solve them.
Therefore, when we learn a skill, we should apply what we have learned, start from ourselves, and think about what else this skill can be applied to ourselves.
Only when we can flexibly apply the knowledge we have learned to all aspects of ourselves can we truly master this knowledge.
Most people's learning ability is actually about the same, but there are not many people who can draw inferences from one case and summarize the party.
If we want to summarize the best formula, we need to continue to practice according to the knowledge or skills we have learned.
And many people only stay at the elementary level of practice, and each practice is scaling up rather than horizontally.
For example, although I insisted on writing a daily review for more than 70 days, I was still reviewing my life and learning.
And the work that takes up most of my time, I don't think about doing a review.
So no matter how many days I write, my ability to review is fixed.
Because I'm only reviewing in this one vertical area, it's already formed a comfort zone for me, so it's hard to improve.
The reason why I didn't apply the review to my work was because I didn't fully understand the value and significance of the review.
On the other hand, because I don't have a set of review parties, I was confused when I changed a field.
The daily review I have been doing before is just painting the cat and comforting myself.
The reason why I don't have my own party ** is because I lack thinking when I do a review.
I got a template, but I didn't think about why it did it, why it had these problems, and why it was in that order.
Of course, thinking is only the first step, after thinking, you can try to sort out your own set of prescriptions, and then verify your own prescriptions in other fields.
So you need to draw inferences and scale horizontally.
After thinking about this reason, I also have to think about the question of the review, and sort out my own review party**.
Finally, apply the review to the work, and verify your own party in the work review.
And continuous improvement, in order to truly learn to review.
The real review must not be rigid in form, but a set of thinking systems established by ourselves.
Write at the end. Learning is not just about learning, and it's not just about knowing how to do it.
Higher level learning is the ability to summarize and apply a knowledge or skill to other areas.
Instead of changing fields, I have to start from scratch.
Wish: Apply what you have learned.
It's a new day, and I'm going to do it today
