In the last month of the year, the United States sent three consecutive signals of war, which increased tensions in the Asia-Pacific region. First of all, the United States officially signed an arms sales agreement to Japan, agreeing to give it an "aggressive", including 44 "Sidewinder" missiles. This is not only a violation of the Yalta Agreement, but also a demonstration of the strategic intention of the United States to leverage the security situation in the entire East Asian region with the help of Japan and South Korea. We have to be wary of the United States threatening the security of China, Russia, and North Korea by arming Japan, which is a serious early warning sign of war.
Second, the U.S. military stationed in South Korea and Japan, as well as the U.S. military in Hawaii, has recently had frequent plane accidents. Since late November, a P-8A of the U.S. Hawaiian Navy has crashed in the Pacific Ocean, followed by the U.S. Navy's tail shell falling off, the loss of contact with the U.S. military drone stationed in Japan, and so on. These events may seem individual, but taken together, they form a huge whole that almost neutralizes the capabilities of a single combat formation. While the accidents themselves are symptomatic of a late empire, more importantly they expose U.S. efforts to accelerate training and preparation in the Asia-Pacific region. This is undoubtedly another early warning sign of war.
The third signal came from a report in the New York Times that U.S. Army units were sent to Hawaii for "survival on a desert island" training to hone their ability to combat in the tropical jungle. The training is believed to be in preparation for military operations in the Taiwan Strait and the Philippine region. In 2021, the United States put forward the doctrine of distributed warfare and tended to arm every island in the Pacific region, aiming to avoid being attacked by China's long-range firepower and fight a long Pacific war. Taken together, it is clear that the United States intends to fight to the death with China in the Asia-Pacific region. We must not underestimate the desperate determination of the Americans.
To sum up, the early warning signs of war in the Asia-Pacific region of the United States are becoming more and more obvious. From arms sales agreements to frequent aircraft accidents to training in tropical jungle warfare, the United States is accelerating its military buildup in the Asia-Pacific region and preparing for a life-and-death contest with China. We must recognize their determination and danger and be fully prepared to meet the challenges that may arise.
In the last month of this year, the United States issued three war warning signals in the Asia-Pacific region in a row, which aroused people's attention and vigilance. From the sale of offensive weapons to Japan, frequent aircraft accidents, to training in tropical jungle warfare in Hawaii, all of these moves show that the United States has intensified its attention and actions in the Asia-Pacific region. As China, we cannot ignore the significance of these signals, and we need to remain highly vigilant and fully prepared to safeguard our national interests and security.
In my personal opinion, the continuous warning signals of war and the escalation of tensions in the Asia-Pacific region by the United States are manifestations of its attempt to maintain its global hegemony. By arming Japan, the United States hopes to form its own security alliance in the East Asian region to serve its strategic goals. However, such an approach will inevitably arouse alarm and revolt in other countries, further exacerbating tensions in the region. As a peaceful major country, China must not only resolutely safeguard its territorial sovereignty and security interests, but also actively seek ways to peacefully resolve disputes. Only through dialogue and cooperation can we achieve peace, stability, development and prosperity in the region.
