A large number of ice crystals or water droplets suspended in the atmosphere atmosphere are known as clouds. Clouds are formed when water condenses in the sky. The sky always contains a certain amount of water vapor, but we can't see it. Clouds are formed when areas of air cool until the water vapor there condenses into liquid.
The main purpose of the experiment was to focus on the formation of clouds by using some household materials.
Required Materials:
Burette. Blue food coloring.
A transparent jar.
Shaving cream. A container for water.
Step 1
Take a small jar or cup. Top up to three-quarters of the water.
Add shaving cream on top.
Wait until the shaving cream has completely settled on the surface of the water.
Now take a separate bowl and add a few drops of food coloring and a few drops of water.
Add it to the dropper or pipette.
Now the real experiment begins.
Use these droppers to drip the color onto the cloud.
Results
Now one can witness the formation of clouds. Once the clouds are filled with water, it will start to rain.
Clouds are nothing more than large amounts of condensed water vapor that show clear signs that atmospheric processes are at work. Clouds regulate the Earth's energy balance by absorbing infrared radiation and scattering solar radiation. In addition to this, clouds redistribute excess energy from the equator to the poles and return water to the oceans and land.
