Day 2 Huailai-Hunyuan.

After the Yangyuan service area, it entered Shanxi from Hebei. On this trip, I brought a map of Shanxi, Shaanxi, Ningxia and Inner Mongolia from the "Detailed Map of Regional Transportation and Tourism" of the Map Publishing House, which just covered the whole journey of this trip. From the map, we are traveling in the Sangan River valley. Of course, you can't see the Sangan River on the highway, but it always reminds you of the book "The Sun Shines on the Sangan River". A widely disseminated literary work does have a non-negligible impact on the ideological and cultural aspects of society. Depending on the value of the work, it may affect a long time, or it may only affect one generation. For example, today's young people, I am afraid that no one knows what the content of "On the Sanggan River" is and who the author is.

A little over 4 hours in the morning. The bus drove out of the arms not far away, the little tour guide said, on the hillside on the left side of the highway, there is a "chicken station", which is a fairly well-preserved post station left in the Yuan Dynasty, which can be said to be the beginning of China's modern postal history. We have no plans to visit this attraction, we can only see it in the car, and it is hard to say if we can see it. The speaker has no intention and the listener has a heart. I looked left and right in the back seat, and I "discovered" the famous Jiming Station, a complex of buildings on the hillside, and a pagoda.

Pick down a paragraph:

The ancient city of Jimingyi is a large-scale post station in the history of ancient Chinese post stations. It is located 18. northwest of Huailai County, Hebei Province5 kilometers, it is a national key cultural relics protection unit.

Jiming Station was built in the Yuan Dynasty, in 1219 Genghis Khan led his troops to the west, opened up a post road on the road leading to Xicheng, and set up"Standing red", i.e. a post station. In the eighteenth year of Yongle in the Ming Dynasty (1420 AD), the Jiming Station was expanded to become the first major station of the Order House into Beijing. During the Kangxi period of the Qing Dynasty, the post minister was set up to be in charge of post station affairs. Jimingyi in the Ming Dynasty Chenghua eight years (AD 1472) to build the earthen wall, Longqing four years (AD 1570) brick repair city pool, the whole city circumference is 2330 meters, the wall is 12 meters high, set up two gates in the east and west, build two floors above the city gate, build the Jade Emperor attic in the middle of the city, and build the corner tower at the four corners of the city. stuff"Horse Trail"For the stagecoach in and out of the passage, south of the city"Nanguan Road"That is, the main road of the post guard herald the order. In the third year of Qianlong in the Qing Dynasty (1738 AD), the city wall was repaired again, and a moat was built in the east of the city.

There are also ancient buildings where the Empress Dowager Cixi stayed when she fled westward, and the ruins still exist. In the twenty-sixth year of Guangxu (1900 AD), the Eight-Nation Alliance invaded and occupied the city of Beijing, and the Empress Dowager Cixi was in panic. In the seventh lunar month, Cixi and Emperor Guangxu fled to Xi'an in panic under the escort of the Imperial Forest Army, and stayed at the house of He Ershao at Jimingyi for a day on the way. At that time, the He family was a famous rich man in the city of Jimingyi, with a total of five courtyards, all of which were brick houses carved with dragons and phoenixes. That night, the Empress Dowager Cixi and Emperor Guangxu both stayed in the second courtyard, Cixi lived in the east room of the north house of the main court, and Emperor Guangxu lived in the east wing, and the entourage of civil and military ** and concubines each had a place to stay. At present, the buildings are well preserved and open to visitors.

In recent years, the unique style here has been favored by the film industry, "Bloody Battle of Taierzhuang", "Bloody Battle of the Great Wall", "Armageddon", "Peerless Homeland", "Blue Flower", "Super Female Spy", "600 Days of Tide" and other films have been filmed in the ancient city, and the rooster has become a rooster song"Cinema City"。

Notice the phrase "unique style". I think it refers not only to the ancient city of Jimingyi, but also to the topography around it. It should be said that it is a hilly landform, but the ravines are vertical and horizontal, and it is very distinctive. To a certain extent, I find it more interesting to observe these natural landscapes than to visit them.

There are not many large trucks on the Shanxi highway, but the national highway is crammed with heavy trucks carrying coal. It is rare to see so many large trucks in the north, full of pits and valleys. It is not known whether heavy trucks do not take the high-speed because of traffic restrictions or to save money. On the railway line parallel to the highway, a heavy-haul train moves slowly, dragging more than 200 carriages; There is also a locomotive set in the middle of the train. The train that does not end to the end looks like a moving city wall, which is quite spectacular.

The ancient name of Datong is "Yunzhong County", one of the important towns on the nine sides. Datong is also known as "Phoenix City", and I can't remember what the origin is. In fact, I have no interest in these legends, which are basically compiled by the guidebook of the travel agency. However, Liu Bang, the ancestor of the Han Dynasty, conquered the Xiongnu and was trapped in Baishan Mountain in Datong, which led to the introduction of the "harmony" policy in the future, but it is a real event in history. Baishan Mountain is in the east of Datong City, and is now renamed Mapu Mountain. We have no plans to visit Datong this time, and it is impossible to go to Baishan Mountain to see. It's a pity that the last time I came to Shanxi alone, I stayed in Datong for two days, and I didn't even think of going to Baishan Mountain. Opportunities are like that, if you miss them, you won't come back.

There is no need to say much about the Yungang Grottoes and the Hanging Temple. The year before last, I climbed Heng Mountain, passed by the Hanging Temple and did not enter; This time it made up for the shortcomings. Because the Hanging Temple is actually quite impressive. It was only after I came back that I sorted out ** on the computer, and I seriously observed that the main body of the Hanging Temple is supported by a number of large wooden poles on the cliff. It's a little creepy.

Overnight in Hunyuan County. In my mind, Hunyuan is a very small city, and it is dilapidated. But my impression was completely wrong. The urban area of Hunyuan is quite large-scale and not dilapidated at all. The reason for this is that the last time I came, I lived on the edge of the county seat, and I didn't explore deeply, and I made the mistake of a blind man touching an elephant. It can be seen that many even intuitive experiences are not reliable!
