On the morning of December 9th, ten hearing-impaired people in Duchang County made a special trip to Duchang Sun Village to carry out charity cutting activities, a total of more than 150 primary school students and junior high school students were given free haircuts that day.

Xu Shaolong, who runs a barber shop in Cailing Town, Duchang County, is a hearing-impaired person, he learned about the basic situation of Sun Village through the Internet, because he is a haircut, so he contacted the staff of Sun Village, and planned to organize the barbers of the Duchang Deaf Volunteer Team to come to Sun Village on weekends to carry out charity cutting activities. His charity received strong support and active participation from everyone, and finally eight hearing-impaired barbers and two hearing-impaired people signed up for the event, including two barbers from Hukou County and Poyang County.

On the morning of the same day, the children of Sun Village lined up at the entrance of Jingyuan Building, eight barbers took scissors, clippers and other haircutting tools to cut the children's hair, and two hearing-impaired people washed the children's hair. When communicating, they all rely on body movements, which is very tacit. The skillful skills of the barber and the warm and thoughtful service have won the praise of the staff and children of Sun Village.

At noon, the barber also had lunch with the children of Sun Village. After lunch, they continued to help the children with haircuts. The whole charity cutting activity lasted for more than five hours, and this activity was not only a free haircut service, but also a silent transmission of positive social energy for the hearing impaired. They have said that as long as Sun Village is in need, they will help the children get free haircuts at any time and give back to the society with their own practical actions. (Yuan Qi).
