On December 3, 2023, the 2023 Class 11 Squadron of the Second Experimental Primary School in Laoshan District visited the Qingdao Sculpture Museum.

All kinds of works of art make everyone dizzy, and the parents who follow the visit are explaining the connotation of the work of Dadao Wuji to the children, and the parents tell the children that there is no boundary in thinking innovation, and they should give full play to their imagination, divergent thinking, and apply it to their own Xi life in the future. The children listened carefully to the explanations and studied the works.

In the process of viewing the exhibition, the students were full of curiosity and used their imagination, and when they saw the works of Space Crab, the children were attracted by the bright colors, and they rushed to express their opinions. Finally, the students learned that the original "Space Crab" series of sculptures was created with crabs as the prototype, and through regrouping, overlapping and other techniques, it was a surrealist reconstruction. Unlike traditional sculptures, each piece of crab sculpture works. In the history of sculpture, it is the first sculpture space language that "sculpture changes with the change of space". I felt the author's creative inspiration up close, and it also opened up new thinking for the students.

After visiting the sculpture museum, the children held a tug-of-war competition, in this sunny seaside, the tug-of-war competition made the children very excited, the competition is not only a kind of sports, but also a collective activity, which can enhance the children's collective sense of honor and unity, which is beneficial to the development of children, and can also exercise children's physical fitness, learn to protect themselves in the process of actively participating in activities, test children's reaction ability and exercise their personal ability.

Since you come to the beach, how can you miss the sea, the small fish and shrimp in the sea have opened a new world for children, and they are very happy.

Through this exhibition, students can be stimulated to think, touch the artist's heart and mind in front of the artworks, and explore the meaning and emotions behind the works through observation, thinking and communication. Artworks can be abstract and figurative, and they will all spark the curiosity and imagination of students. Students pondered why artists chose this way of expression, what message they wanted to convey, and their own understanding and feelings about the work. Through thinking and communication, the students' thinking and expression skills have been exercised and improved, and they have felt the emotional impact and visual enjoyment brought by different works. Through appreciating the works, the students' aesthetic taste has been cultivated and improved, and then they can keenly discover the existence of beauty in daily life, and know more about how to create beauty.

The first research activity ended perfectly, and I look forward to the children's next trip, "measuring the world with their feet and recording the scenery with their eyes".
