My name is Wu Xiaomeow, 34 years old, looking back on my three careers, from media director, to customer service manager of a bank, and now I am a working CFA lecturer in the education industry.

It seems to be chaotic, but in fact there are traces to follow. Every career change is actually a stepping stone for the next step:

A media company-film and television director:

2011 2012) became a film and television screenwriter, which cultivated three modes of thinking: director's thinking, cameraman's thinking, and editing thinking.

Guangfa Bank Guangzhou Branch - Wealth Manager:

2013 2021) was responsible for the client's asset allocation and financial planning for the first 3 years16 years later, I went to work as a wealth manager in another bank

An education company - financial education practitioner:

2021-present) as a senior lecturer at CFA FRM, responsible for curriculum development and delivery.

To sum up, there are three major factors why I have not been lost and gained something in the continuous cross-line:

Find the right "good partner":

My lover and I are alumni of the university, we have known each other for more than ten years, and the biggest feeling is that it is good to have someone who is willing to accompany me to constantly upgrade and fight monsters!Being both a partner and a teammate has given me a lot of advice on the direction every time I change careers, and I have more positive energy to keep moving forward.

Be curious:

What prompted me to change careers was that I didn't want to do mechanical work over and over again. Maybe it has something to do with my own personality, I often "can't stay still", but instead I prefer things that allow me to play my own initiative. The current finance instructor is a perfect fit for my personality, so every time I change careers, it's a fresh challenge.

Review Growth:

After solving the problem, review it, reflect, sort out and summarize the problem, and gain useful experience and resources to prepare for the next challenge. In the past 12 years, I have crossed the bank three times, and I have been constantly summarizing and reflecting, so that I can face the unknown challenges in work and life more maturely and steadily.

The above three points are actually like pyramid-like three vertices that support each other, psychology = execution = thinking, and then further strengthen self-affirmation through good results, forming a virtuous circle.
