The cooling methods commonly used in the special mold temperature machine for rollers are indirect cooling and direct cooling, and the indirect cooling method is separated from the main circuit by the cooling circuit, so the indirect cooling method is adopted. The indirect cooling circuit is not directly involved in the main circuit and is usually cooled by a plate exchanger.

Indirect cooling
In the case of a high-temperature water temperature machine for rollers, the temperature is usually used at about 160, and the internal structure of the main circuit circulation system is a high-temperature water medium. The external water pressure is required to exceed the internal main line pressure before it can enter the main line for cooling. The high-temperature water temperature machine mostly adopts the indirect cooling method, and we choose the indirect cooling method with a large cooling capacity. In the high-temperature water temperature machine system, the direct cooling method may cool down faster, but this method is prone to risks, and the mold temperature machine manufacturer will not try it easily.
Direct cooling
Direct cooling can only be used at low temperatures, when the internal piping is under high working pressure. However, the heat transfer rate is slow. Heat will be lost in the heat exchange, so when the actual temperature of the medium is deviated from the preset value, the method of direct cooling is applied.
Because water and oil cannot be mixed in the heating process of the oil temperature machine, the cooling form of the oil temperature machine generally adopts indirect cooling, and the heat exchange is carried out through the plate heat exchanger and shell and tube heat exchanger.
