Yangjiang, Guangdong, December 26 (Xinhua) -- At 6:39 a.m. on December 26, China's Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center successfully launched the test No. 24C satellite using the Long March 11 carrier rocket in the waters near Yangjiang, Guangdong.

The test 24C satellite is mainly used for space science and technology experiments.

This mission was the 503rd flight of the Long March family of launch vehicles.
