The first piece of pile foundation of G312 expressway project was successfully drilled

It was learned from Changzhou Traffic Construction Management that on the morning of December 18, although it was snowing heavily and the cold wind was biting, in the construction boom set off by the roar of the machine and the command of the on-site personnel, the first piece of the SG3 standard pile foundation of the G312 Changzhou Henglin to Hutang East Section Project undertaken by Jiangsu Traffic Engineering Group was successfully drilled, marking the official start of the construction of the bridge structure of the project. The smooth drilling of the first pile foundation has greatly encouraged people and laid a solid foundation for the subsequent construction of the project.

It is reported that on December 15, the first piece of SG1 standard cement mixing pile of the G312 expressway project was officially started. The total length of the G312 expressway project is about 128 kilometers, from the junction of Changzhou Economic Development Zone and Huishan District of Wuxi City in the east, to the hub of Qingyang Road and Changhong Road in the west, passing through Henglin Town, Yaoguan Town and Hutang Town. The standard construction of the first-class highway adopts the auxiliary road, in which the design speed of the elevated main road is 80km h, and the design speed of the ground auxiliary road is 50km h, both of which are set up with two-way 6 lanes.

The G312 expressway project will connect the rapid reconstruction project of the western section of Wuxi, realize the seamless connection of the expressway ring of the two cities, and jointly build an east-west expressway through Changzhou City with Changhong Road, Changhong West Road, Jinwu Road and Maoshan Tourism Avenue to further improve the regional traffic efficiency. The construction of the project is of great significance to further improve the regional trunk road network, ensure the smooth flow of national highways, enhance the traffic capacity of the Shanghai-Nanjing corridor, and promote economic and social development along the route. After the completion of the whole section, the city's traffic efficiency with Wuxi, Suzhou and Shanghai will be greatly improved, and the connection between the Shanghai metropolitan area and the Suzhou-Xichang metropolitan area will be further strengthened, effectively promoting the integrated development of the Yangtze River Delta.
